Remarks

As I've already mentioned in the very beginning of this review, it's the best college in the city, I'm going to say that once again, Government college is the best college in hisar in almost every possible way. my 3 years in college were probably the best 3 years of my life until now, everybody at college, staff, teachers, students made this possible.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The learning structure of the college is very advanced yet very simple. All the teachers and staff created a very nice environment for the students to work and learn the best in easiest ways. The knowledge was not just bound to the books, practical skills enhancement was also a very important part of our stream and the teachers did a great job on improving our practical experience. At the near end of our course, we were called for placements in the companies one would want to be a part of. Speaking of industrial visits, in my 3 year tenure at the college, we went out for almost 2 dozen industrial visit and practical projects.

Placement Experience

4

Many companies visited our college, i can't remember all but some of them were, excel fertilisers, amul, mother dairy, parle, itc, and many other local companies. The recruitment process was, that first you have to make a list of companies you're interested in then apply for their on campus placement form then you'll be needed to show them your grades followed by an interview. The tentative percentage of the students who got placed out of how many applied for the on campus placement, was somewhere near 70-75%.yes, the college management arranged us special classes for our personality building, and interview skills, which turned out to be very useful for most of the students.

College Events

4.5

technical events were, national science fair, various science olympiads, and many local science institutions fairs. cultural festivals were holi, diwali, eid, Christmas, national days and management Festivals included dance competition, singing competitions and quiz and many more. All the festivals used to be the best in the city, because of the social status the college held in the city.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees was 3500 rupees per semester, making it a total of around 21000 rupees for my whole 3 year course, which is not expensive and cheaper than every other college in the city. there were no big additional charges for anything and there was no fees at all for securing admission in my course. The college provided the vet good transparency, we were handed over a receipt for every penny we ever paid of.

Fees and Financial Aid

i personally wasn't not on any scholarship, but the scholarships were there for the deserved students. the procedure for applying scholarships was to apply for the scholarship in the beginning of course, you just have to show your previous information and financial information and once the documents are verified, you're eligible for scholarship. scholarships breaking criteria was different based on student's financial conditions and educational achievements. There was upto 70%scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

50:50 was the gender ratio of our batch. there was no discrimination based on gender, colour, ethnicity, caste, religion or anything. for every festival, industrial visits, every student irrespective of gender or financial background or any discriminative thing, was given equal opportunity. the teachers were very helpful to teach us the moral values too, and we, classmatesalso, were respected to each other in every situation. no students were allowed or given any kind of benefit ever, because of their political or economical backgrounds.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were a very important and amazing part of our college life. the seniors were always very helping in teaching us academically and morally, they were kind enough to give us their notes and practical lab apparatus. same goes for the teachers too, they were more like friends than just strict teachers. the teachers and seniors made our college life amazing not only by teaching us but also by improving us, making us enjoy the college time.

Admission

I opt for bsc. because I've always wanted to pursue a career in science. one of the many reasons of why i chose this college was it was in my home city, and apart from that it's the best college in city in studies, in sports, in cultural activities and many more. To get admission in government college hisar, firstly you have to complete your 12th, then apply for the course you want to get admitted in, submit your documents, then you have to wait for the merit list, if you have your name in the list then get your documents verified and that's it.

Faculty

5

The number of lecturers in science department was over 15,average age of teachers were somewhere around 40-45,highly qualified and very professional. All the teachers used to teach us in the ways that there job was not make us pass the exams, but to make us good science student, a good person, person who can use that knowledge for the betterment of lives of themselves and others. The theory lectures were very relevant and useful and industry experience and practical knowledge was also very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.
