The college management is pretty strict about discipline and attendance related concerns, but it is for the greater good of the students. The students are imposed penalty in terms of fine that has to be paid by them. Students usually have a bad impression of this but it is highly effective in keeping them punctual and disciplined.

The institute follows the curriculum prescribed by the University (APJ AKTU), although it is more theoretical than research-based. The exams structure is highly comprehensive, and consists of thorough internal as well as external evaluation. The students are groomed and made industry-ready, as the institute provides best guidance and mentoring on skill development, personality development, and self presentation. It is clearly reflected in the campus placements, as the recruiters' feedback has always been positive regarding the candidates.

Of all branches, the institute has the highest number of placements from Computer Science and Engineering, and most prominent companies include Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Optum, and many more. The students also secure many off campus placement offers from companies like Wipro, Airbus, Amazon, TCS and many more. The campus drives have a written exam, followed by interviews for selection. More than 90% students are placed every year from this college.

The institute celebrates 'Ignitia' annually, which is the technical and cultural festival of the college. It lasts for 2 days, and hosts various technical events, project displays, competitions, games, and cultural presentations, along with music, dance, and enjoyment.

The fee for Computer Science and Engineering course is about 1,30,000 per year. Admission charges vary every year, but are in the range of 40,000-50,000. The fee breakdown is transparent and the payment can be made in cash, by credit/debit card, or online.

The college doesn't offer any scholarship opportunities to students, but the University does. The eligibility criteria is the family income of students should be less than 200000 per year. The procedure to apply for scholarship is completely online, and the students have to submit relevant proofs of income and proper identity proofs to avail scholarship. It amounts to about 50000 per year.

The campus frequently organises workshops for skill and personality development of both-students and faculty. There are various clubs that the students can be a member of. These clubs are technical and cultural. These clubs organize events in the annual festival of the college (Ignitia). The male:female ratio is about 100:90 overall, but varies from course to course. There are students from all kinds of backgrounds and religions, and the institute celebrates all the ethnicities among its members.

The college has a strong alumni network and they are frequently invited to the campus to interact with juniors and pass them valuable insights about the career and industry. I've been in touch with my seniors which have been placed in various companies and have found their opinions and advices to be pretty helpful in deciding the steps to take for future.

The admission process takes place after the results of UP State Engineering Entrance Examination are announced. The students applying for this college are shortlisted based on their rank, and then are interviewed. The results of those interviews are provided within a few hrs. I chose this institution because it is one of the best private colleges of the state, and the fastest growing institute of North India. Being a resident of Kanpur city itself, I didn't need to look anywhere else.

The faculty are highly trained and skilled, with most of them having specialization in their domain. Around 480 lectures per subject are delivered in every semester, along with lab sessions and hands-on experiences. The minimum qualification of faculty is M.Tech, and most of them having PhD and published several research papers in respective domains.
