Pradeep Moka's Review On Bapatla Engineering College - [BEC], Guntur

Clearing EAMCET conducted by Andhra Pradesh , with a rank of 1193 during 2002 , entered this wonderful college (Bapatla Engg College) .

Affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University at that time and Deemed now , it has a very effective and updated course plan , which suites the learing towards current cutting edge technology.

Internship were very few at that time, as most of the projects were based out at college due to high student count and lower tech companies during 2006. However got to know there is a lot of improvement over the years .

During 2006 , the companies were very few , counting to 6 with highest package of 2.2lks. TCS ,CTS, WIPRO and SAYTAM were among the top companies during 2006.

College has a well balanced tech and cultural events all over the year. Tech fests were executed based on branch to branch where the maximum participation is from south indian states, like AP and Tamil Nadu , based on its geographical location.

Fee per year is only 8k during 2006 batch , which really was cheaper during those days.Later on it was 22k from the next batch. Wish it is the same now.Of course there are few NRI seats which were costly.

Scholarships were offered to the reservation candidates which really helped few of my friends , who were below poverty line.

Seniors were very friendly both technically and personally , in sharing their experiences and guiding juniors towards their career goals. Alumini is well maintained by college administration which helped me in finding better jobs opportunities during my career.

Exam structure is very simple with 2 cycle and 2 mid exams and one final semester exam, which again considers 1 of the 2 best cycle and mid performances. which helps students to gain percentage overall. Exam structure is very much on the lines of NIT and IITs unlike JNTU and Andhra University.

Faculty is very passionate and dedicated towards teaching , with complete encouragement for students towards their goals and career plan .Faculty includes professors qualified from NIT and IITs along associate professors from JNTU and affiliated colleges of Nagarjuna and Andhra University.
