Remarks

College does not have a good playground. The whole college is terrain full of stones and rocks. And this region is very little vegetation. Green is only found during the rainy season. And the climate is strictly dry. The summer season is very terrible to pass. The good remark is that the college has a mountain inside the campus having a temple. It is a major spot used by students to enjoy and take selfies with their colleagues.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum is quite good not too good. The exam structure is yearly for bachelor courses and semester-wise for master's courses. There are labs on the campus where you can work and acquire knowledge and sharpen yourself. Internships come in two times a year like a summer training and winter training. Under the department, teachers are professionals in their field. Under guidance, you can acquire immense knowledge.

Placement Experience

1.5

Yes, placement is good but internships make the student sharp. There are summer and winter training programs students who are willing to learn something regarding their interest can utilize their summer and winter vacations.

College Events

3

Cultural festivals with sports events and space research events and many more. They are very big. A number of colleges participate in our college fests. More than 100 people participate. Management is very impressive in our college. Fully protected by a guard.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for all category students because for the financially weaker sections they can fill the form of scholarship and whole fees will be reimbursed totally. The mode of fee payment is digitally and online and via draft deposition in SBI bank. No there are no additional charges to secure an admission. If you are available during the admission time you will get admission otherwise seats will be allowed to other students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I have got a scholarship. And it is very easy to take. To avail this scheme of up government. First, you may see the limitation of the full filling of the scholarship form. Make sure you have an income certificate and address proof to take this benefit. You can fill the form within the campus. There is a net cafe inside the campus where you can fill scholarship forms because they have experience in such things.

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio is the same. Both the number of boys and girls are the same. There is nothing related to ethicithicity race and religion. Students study with each other irrespective of caste and religion. The college so far from politics. Students are free to file complaints in case of raging. There are many signboards inside the campus regarding the ragging.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No. Due to financial problems. I'm not able to opt for the hostel. And hostel option is also based on merit-based. There are two hostels for boys and one hostel for girls with all-time food and light facilities. Along with 24 hr guard protection.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Sure alumni meet is very good in the earth science department. I cannot guarantee the alumni meet of other faculty. I cannot make a false promise about another department.

Admission

I opted for this course because I had a keen interest in earth science. I chose this university for admission because it was suggested by my friends and seniors who already studied at this university. And this university is in the region where researchers are doing many geological formations and many research papers are published in recent years. This Bundelkhand region has much important information in it. Admission is based on a merit list and here it is easy to take admission. This university is a state government university and students having financial problems can take admission in this in comparison to private universities. The institution has also got many facilities including library and canteen with an attached bank state bank of India in it with a 24 hr functional atm.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is good with the availability of plenty of teachers in each department. There are 3 highly professional teachers in my department which are experts in their own field. Even they have a research works given by up govt. The teachers have a collaboration with Russia on the study of bundelkhand geology. The teacher is well disciplined and very good field knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.
