Remarks
The overall infrastructure of our college is not so good but also great. There are P. G. in some subjects. The general office staff members are hearty and polite enough. The Student-teacher relationship is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 6 semesters in our course. Even in all courses. The 1st, 3rd, 5th semesters started in the month of August and end in December. 2nd, 4th, 6th semester starts in January and end in July. The written tests are held in another college and the practical exams are held in home college.
Placement Experience
No. There is no placement or job opportunities in our college. During graduation, the students are either go for M.Sc.Or some are go for other lines e.g. BCS, INDIA POST, RAIL etc. Some of them start their family business.
College Events
College grand festival, Rakhi Bandhan, freshers, Saraswati puja, Rabindra Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti, College Foundation Day, University foundation Day, Independence Day, Netaji Janma Jayanti, Prizegiving Ceremony, Seminars on various topics, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
No, there is a feasible fee structure. Even in Purba Medinipur and Pashchim Medinipur, this is the only college whose fees structure is much feasible as compared to the other colleges. We pay 1500 per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there are no good scholarships for the current student. But who becomes topper in each department every year gets honored by getting a scholarship. This is donated by our college. Even the students who are complete their graduation with a good mark, get a scholarship from his department.
Campus Life
Labs of science departments are good enough. A big playground also presents in our college. A basketball court is also present there. A seminar Hall and auditorium also present here. There is NCC BASE CAMP. The NSS unit is also available in our college.
Hostel Facilities
No, I am not in a hostel. But there is a hostel facility for both the boys and girls. The infrastructure of the girls' hostel is very nice as compared to the boy's hostel. There are some new buildings which are under construction for hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no well-established alumni network. Because after graduation most of the students are not keep relationship with the college. But now many departments are trying to establish a good alumni network.
Admission
First I applied for admission to this college then I paid my application fee online. Then a merit list is published and after that, they call me for counseling and I present there and then I admitted according to serial no.
Faculty
In all departments, there are enough faculties present. Even the Non-teaching stuff is also present in huge numbers. Average 7 teachers are present in each department. 3 or 4 nonteaching kinds of staff are also engaged in each department.
