I have a very positive remark about my college. The college is very good for students which help them exel in academics as well as in extra curricular activits such as arts, sports,etc. the college have only minor drawbacks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose a good course. This is an autonomous college. So exams are conducted timely and results published soon. Unlike the Calicut university whos first semester exams were finished last week where our second semester exams will begina within a week.
Placement Experience
No. The college doesn’t provide internships. The college is government aided college so the teachers and staff are government appointed and placed. The college however gets good teachers with great efficiency.
College Events
Farook College is an awesome college because it will make your college days ever memorable. The college conducts various programs such as sports event, fine arts day, union inauguration, annual arts day , etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The students who got admission via merit base need not pay feas. The student and in self financing division has to pay fees. And the fees are feasible. How ever every students have to pay exam fees. The government supports these students and provides various scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college is government aided so it gets almost all scholarships from government. They are central sector scholarships, post metric scholarships and various other scholarships for exclusively for girls.
Campus Life
The college is well known for its infrastructure and is still growing. The college have various labs for physics lab, chemistry lab , and all. The college have am indoor stadium, huge ground, auditorium,etc.
Hostel Facilities
The college have 5 different hostels for students who wish to stay in hostel. They are azad hostel, al mudaliar hostel, iqbal hostel, presidence hostel, sir syed hostel, idb hostel . The hostel is kept clean and good condition.
Alumni/Alumna
The college is getting highly qualified students who are very helpful and caring. The are good in accadamics aa well as in extra curricular activites like song dave sports ,etc. me as a first year student have good Seniors.
Admission
Came to farook college in the admission time that was during the month of may and June. I came with the documents such as my sslc certificate, plus two certificates, improvement results to the college. Then got admission in management seat innself financing division.
Faculty
The college is having autonomous power which means that the college is mature enough to take decisions of their own and conduct exams and publish results soon. Tye college have a great faculty members.
