About Government College of nursing

The college is good for education purpose. But still infrastructure need to be improved alot. College management should consult with government to provide more facilities in college. Overall College gives us lot of memories so i can conclude that college is good.

International standards of nursing are followed while providing teaching. Government College placements are good as compared to private colleges. Yes industrial visits are done during community hrs

Companies from japan,delhi,noida, Germany vist the college for placement japypee group recently did placements. Steps followed are simple that is by interview method and then selected students are called.80-90% students have opportunity of job. No special steps are taken by institute to prepare student for placement session.

Workshops and seminar related to the subject or the current condition are held in campus. Nursing week is celebrated. Other cultural functions also celebrated ar campus level only. BEAT fest is held by BFUHS at faridkot where all bfuhs affiliated colleges take part

Yearly fees of colleges 13500 and mode of payment is via draft. Additional charges like examination fee of 2000 rupees is given every year. Yes there is transparency in fee breakdown. Other charges like SNA fund that is 500 rs per year is given. For other small functions 10-50rs collection is taken.

Yes College offers various scholarship opportunities for students. The eligibility criteria is different for different type of scholarship. Basic include downloading online form or submitting meeting the form online And provide a copy of that to the college. The average sum include total fees including college fee and hostel fee.

Our college comes under Government medical College amritsar. In our nursing College gender ratio is very high that is a total of 12 boys only that is girl to boy ration is 50:3. A little bit of discrimination among the students related to religion/race. no one shows it openly but yeah in mind it is present. Overall gender ration thought campus is ok.

I have not opted for hostel as hostel for boys is not available hostel is available only for girls. Condition of hostel is not so good it is just ok as of now new host is also being made As in pg a total of 6000rs per month is required which include good from mess and milk etc. That is a total of 6000rs is the expenditure every month.

Experience with college seniors is very very good. They are cooperative and help in learning and tell about places to visit in the city. Some are just like family. They have enhanced our experience in the college.

I opted for the course because of my interest in medical and it's scope in future. Accuses instituted as being a government college i can practice a lot in hospital and fees comparatively less. Entrance exam known as PPMET is held by Baba Farid University of health and sciences. Exam form is filled online and fees is given in form of draft. Exam is held at centres made by BFUHS at faridkot.

Each day 6 lectures are delivered each oh 1 hr. Average age of student joining the course is 19 years and qualification is +2 medical. professors have qualifications of msc phd etc that is they are expert in field and lot of teaching experience. Any doubt related to practical is cleared in hospital also by the hospital staff. A lot of practical hrs are part of course which are very beneficial for practice.
