Remarks
Management is at par with the other MBA colleges in India.
Course Curriculum Overview
4 semesters are divided into 8 quads from which 1quad is solely dedicated to the final project. 2 months industrial training is compulsory. Curriculum is well designed. But sometimes it looks like curriculum is made to cater mediocre students and not made for brilliant minds.
Placement Experience
Although they claim to give 100% placement but the fact is among those placements only 30% are quality placements. Same companies visit for internships too.
College Events
Holi, indipence day, interdepartmental events and other major fastivals all are celebrated following by a event in OAT open air theatre. There is friendly environment for both boys and girls to enjoy to their fullest without any interference. Girls do have extra privlages over boys be it hostels or other facilities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was feasible. One of the affordable MBA you can do in North India. Mode of payment was cash or via netbanking. Fee breakdown was transparent. No issues over there. There is accounts department from where anyone can submit their fee. Fee can be given after some delay but with late fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got 1 semester fee waiver. An interview was conducted for the internal students of the university and some of them got the scholarship. Luckily I was one of them.
Campus Life
3500 students in the University among those 60% are girls. Students come from nearly each and every state. No politics is allowed in campus. Students come from poor to extreme rich backgrounds. Best part is each and every student is given all opportunities to stand apart in the sea of students.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I opted for hostel. I was in Aryabhatta hostel. Food was not good at that time but improved over the period of time. Now in last year or so many things have improved be it infrastructure or food quality in hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
Shoolini alumni is not strong till now but will grow eventually. Many of them works in big organisations.
Admission
I did bachelor's from the same University and got scholarship for the Masters. That forced me to join Shoolini and MBA was very lucrative option at that point of time. So I gave the scholarship test and following by the interview. Admissions starts from April and goes till July. Commencement of classes form August.
Faculty
Faculty is good but strict as hell. They won't give you any space. 5-6 lectrures in a semester. Average age is about 30 -40. Professors are well qualified. They hold proper certifications to teach you. All of them have industry experience. But for some reason few of them are just focused for the completion of their syllabus.
