My college was very strict regarding discipline and our attendance. Even the college management was set in such a way that none of the student could bunk classes during lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was groomed according to the industry specific knowledge along with 4 industry visits. It was highly updated with current affairs and connected to meet the current needs and expectations of the industry as all our batch mates were placed.There were 4 visits to different industries like Diamond Industry, ParleG industry visit etc.
Placement Experience
Companies like Infosys,Wipro,Policy Bazaar,Byjus,Reliance,Tommy Hilfiger,Oyo,Calvin Klein visited my college.The general steps taken were first having written examination then interviews which can be twice or more.100% students are placed every year from the campus. The institution didnt take any special steps to prepare the students except two to three days before the arrival of the Company. The College had asked us to go for internships during our semester break.
College Events
There is a college event held every year of two days called Ignitia which includes celebrity night and many technical events along with it. Then every Childrens Day there is a fete where many kinds of stalls are put up by the students. There are other events like MUN. Project display competition of all branches. International Confrences are held. Seminars are there etc. They all are big enough to be participated by majority of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The program fee is not expensive. It is feasible as it took 1.5 lakhs within 3 years.The mode of payments are cash or SBI payment mode. Apart from security money there are no additional charges to be else paid. During fee - breakdown the college wont provide any transparency.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the college offered scholarships if the student scored first division in college. But for that there was a document to be filled regarding the fathers income along with its certificate as well.The average sum was ?30,000 for the scholarship to be provided.
Campus Life
The gender ratios were 40:60 girls and boys. There is prohibition of ragging else the student will be resticated. There is gender equality in terms of all the aspects be it economic status, politics, religion,race etc. During workshops all have the fair chance of participation and rewards.
Hostel Facilities
No i was a day scholar. I used to go by Bus from the college and the facility in the hostel regarding rooms were average but the students were not allowed to move from the campus on anytime of the day. Only sundays are for outings. Rest days no one is allowed to move from campus. Parents were sent message before any visit of the student.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes the college seniors were helpful in terms of sharing their placement experiences. I hardly had any interaction with any of the aluminis but there is alumini meet every year which makes us feel confidence regarding our paths chosen by us.
Admission
The first criteria was to have minimum aggregate of 65% to take admission in the college. Then there was interviews conducted by the panel members. Then the result was declared soon after the interview was over. Then the students are asked to come to college one day for the final document submission. After that admission is completed.
Faculty
There were 8 lectures everyday. All the faculty members were Mba and also qualified UGC Net with an average of 32years. The lecturers provided notes as well as explained digitally and gave us the tasks to make presentations regarding our topics to make it better understood. They also provided knowledge regarding industry and its work. And had certifications of industry experience with them.
