Perfect Environment

BHu gets the students filled with the potential, just because of the professors behaviour many loose their potential.BHU has got everything, only thing that need to be changed is that the initiatives - they need to be taken by professors so as to help the students boost confidence, later students will start doing all by themselves. Atleast you need to hold the finger of student for sometime.

Course is perfectly designed and it is relevant for the working life.The course is prepared with a holistic approach, however in the last year you are given the option to choose your honors subject, mine was finance, and Faculty of commerce, BHU is not doing enough for the honors subject.Syllabus for hons subject is not properly designed, and it can't be done in just one semester, you need to make a person profession ready where as we were just given the theoritical knowledge which has not been much use to me til now.That is the reason we are not given preference for placements, and MBA students are selected over us in the campus. Many of the students were not informed about the campus drive and all, no training or nothing. However it is not placements cell mistake, as most of the UG students are not willing to go for the placements.

This is the thing I would say many colleges don't get, BHU itself has number of courses and internship that can't be found anywhere else. They keep coming, you just have to keep checking the notice boards.And the vast network helps you get the jobs as well, you just have try and the professor will get the job done.

You will see every festival being celebrated in the campus.The annual fest of every institute and faculty is Spandan which goes for around 10 days. I can't say the number of participants but I can tell you that they are in thousands. BHU has the total strength of students around 30000. I would say the number of participants are very high. And also you will see many celebrities coming,alumi meet, number of seminars and shows.

Rs.1972 if you get the non paid seat, otherwise it is 25000 p.a. for the paid seat option.You have to pay 300 at every odd semester. Total would come around 6000 for 3 years. 6000 and boom your graduation is done.there are benefits given to SC and ST students, they are even given the full reimbursement of their fees.

No,there is not scholarship provided to me.However my friends got the scholarship as they were having domicile of UP,they got the scholarship from govt of uttarpradesh.The campus helps SC/St and the other needy by reimbursing the full fees.

My review title is PERFECT ENVIRONMENT.The campus life of BHU is just the best. You will get everything and more that you can't even think of.Be it competition, festivals, sports, library etc. I also believe it is one the safest place for the girls to study, though many may disagree to me on this.

I didn't get the hostel seat. I went to live outside the campus, and the average rentas to live outside campus is around 2500 pm.Whereas in campus it is 6000 for 6 months.The campus provides evrything if you live inside the campus, food -40pe are diet (that diet is just as good as home ), water, hospital.however hospital benefits are provided for free to everyone who is a student.

If you live inside the campus you will have the benefit of touch with the seniors as get to meet them at hostels. However who are regular to college they get the chance to have touch with everyone.They are supportive and helpful.

Following steps are to be followed: 1. Fill in the entrance test application - Undergraduate entrance test (UET)-BHU, which is out by February every year. 2.Sit for the exam in the month of April or May. 3.Results are announced in month of June 4.If you clear the exam, you will get the call letter for counselling, and then if you make it to the final list, you will get the admission and accordingly hostel seat allotment will be done.Please note that not everyone is given the hostel seat. The name is more than enough for many people as my parents say. It's environment is just the perfect place to develop yourself - be it in the right direction or wrong. All told it just provides you the opportunity to do whatever you want, you just have the drive within you and you will have that thing in the campus. Why is it so ? Because it is the central University, a institute of national importance established 103 year again, always ranked under top 10.

They were fine, not the great I would say. We use to get 3 lectures a day - of different subject. Every professor holds a number of degrees as their achivement otherwise they wouldn't be faculty in the prestigious University. Average age I would say is near to 40.However they are somewhat outdated just like other colleges. They aren't as good as the MBA profesors. However the assistant professors are good, they atleast try for the good of students. They are experts in their fields. All told I would say they were fine but it should be noted, that they would try good for you if you are ready to approach to them.I don't consider it a good thing that a student has to take a initiative, atleast professor should give them that confidence that they may try.
