My Golden Days

The college management was very honest and they always had a positive approach in any complaints from students.

In our days there wasn't any such entrance exams procedure. The admission was given on the basis of percentage obtained.

Curriculum was based on fundamentals of Civil Engineering. And more on Practical aspects. Almost all areas of Civil Engineering were covered in the curriculum.

There was no such practice at that time. No need for internship. every body gets practical training in the college. Like surveying, structural analysis, Site visits to different construction sites.

Govt. & Private sector there were plenty of Job Opportunities. We get immediate recruitment after pass out. Salary was excellent for a fresher also.

We have following events Teachers Day, Technical Seminar, Talent Evening, 3 Day practical training, Picnic Also we celebrates foundation day in a BIG way.

Fee structure was very less. I remember it was Rs.225/- per semester. We have an exam fees of Rs. 15/-. Total we paid Rs.1500/- for the whole civil engineering course.

The fees was so less that there wasn't any need for loan. I got scholarship of Rs.75/- per semester.

Campus life was very simple. No any kind of ragging. We celebrates all festivals in a big way during all three years. There were talent evenings being held each year.

Hostel facility was ok. We were 2 students in a room. Each student has it's own cupboard and bed. Food was nice. Every weekend we gets feast - sweet and farsan

Unfortunately the alumni network is no longer active. In past we had a meeting for two-three times at the college campus. We all enjoyed the event in a big way.

Exam structure was comparatively simple. 100 marks paper in each subject. Se-mister system. Practical exams also of 100 marks.

The major subject - Structural Engineering was taught by our principal. He was very sincere and his vision was very subjective. All other faculties were very sincere and an attention was given to each student.
