CGPET , I don't remember my score but I was given a choice between computer science and electrical engineering with my score and the college (This was the only best college after REC raipur) and I choose electrical because for me computer was easy course.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very boring and tough until I didn't gain interest. Fortunately we had best professors in electrical department ,very strict,yet dedicated . So , I was even able to earn score which I never earned during my primary school and I felt so motivated.
Internships Opportunities
There was no such things in my course , hence I am not aware. However ,we have done college projects in nearby industries like BHEL,SAIL and SECEL ,where I have seen how these organizations work to produce electricity or coal.
Placement Experience
In my time there were few companies like Satyam,Infosys ,Techmahindra ,TSystem ,Alstom ,wipro,Balco and Jindal ,there were some more organization. But I am unable to recall there name now,They offered the packages range 2.1-3 lakh per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fee as well the fooding plus lodging of our college was flexible and cheap. Annual fee was around 37 thousand only which in comparison to other colleges are very less.
Fees and Financial Aid
No , I am not aware of any such facility. I had few friends who used to have to pay lesser fee than me but that was because they were having cg domicile and some student took loan from Bank.
Campus Life
Gendor ratio was great but it was trade dependent like in CsC there were more number of girls then boys however in Mechanical there were only 2 girls in my batch l.There were no discrimination for race,religion or ethinicity . Initially I found that the college was gender biased but later it seems good to me.Politics was not in my college as there were no scope for the same.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior were very helpful and they used to guide us , there were good amount of alumni used to attend the alumni meet and share there experience after college which was very motivating.
Exam Structure
There used to 8 semesters in complete b.tech course , in each semester there used to be 1 internal and 1 external theory and practical exams of each subjects. There were some marks given on the basis of attendance and projects.
