Manikanta’s Review on SRKR

For every college has positives and negatives. The positives of the college were good experienced faculty and updated laboratories. The college has good infrastructure but the maintainance was not so good. The placements of the college was also good.

The course curriculum is very good. We have two semesters for every year. At the end of each semester we have semester final exams. We also have two mid exams in each semester. The mid exams will conduct after half of the syllabus is completed. We have lab examinations as internals and externals. Internal lab exams were condcted under the presence of college teaching staff. External lab exams were conducted under the presence of external college lecturers. In the laboratories, we can gain the practical knowledge by applying thr theoritical knowledge. In the semester exams, we have questions related to the applications what we have studied in our courses. So it was very useful for the student to develop the application oriented studying.

Yes our college provides good placements from all over India. About 200-250 students get placed each and every year through direct placements. Mostly the MRF tyeares, Nissan, tecnopark these companies usually come to our college for placements.

We have technical fest for every individual branches and a overall college technical fest. Each branch has a separate association to conduct technical and cultural festivals. The fests conducted by each association are national level festivals. In the technical festivals, we have Workshops, Quizzes, Sports and so many.

The college fee structure was some what expensive for the middle class family. The annual fee was rupees 95, 000/-. In addition to this, we have rupees 9500/- as building fee and examination fee for each year.

As per my knowledge, the college was not provide any scholarships or loans. Beside that, the college will allow to pay the fee by bank cheque’s provided by the student loan in the banks. Also, we have a fee reimbesment of rupees of 35000 from the government of Andhra Pradesh.

Our college has a separate association for sports and extra curricular activities. My college has a cricket playground, two badminton courts, two volley ball courts, one football playground and one basketball court. We also have a gim for physical fitness of the students. We don’t have any gender discrimination in the college.

The alumnis and the senior students are much helpful to us. They provide enough support for each and every aspects. Recently three of our alumnis have passed the IAS examination and they made a visit in our college which was must inspiring and interesting to all of us.

I got admission through Kerala entrance examination (KEAM 2019). I chose engineering because IAM very much interested in engine studies and all. Moreover engineering also provides good job opportunities all over the world.

The faculty of my college was very good. We have 450+ dedicated and experienced faculty in my college. Among them, 92 faculty are Phd scholars and 128 lecturers are pursuing the Phd degree. The lecturers were teach in a smart way to understand the concept of the subject by digital classes as well as the black board class. To understand the derivation and equations in a particular concept they use black boards and they use digital classes to teach diagramatically.
