Jims Rohini is one of the best mgmt school, as it provides the amiable environment to the students which help you think beyond books, curriculum and learning through practical exposure. Faculty is the best part of Jims, they are friendly and very cooperative. they guided us academically as well as motivated and tried to bring out the best in us. The experience with Jims was unforgettable. Indeed, the best two years of my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got the opportunity to study PGDM in JIMS. The first year I got the opportunity to explore all the specializations, and in the second year. I chose Marketing as majors & finance as minors. when enrolled, I was confused about specialization. First-year gave me the opportunity to study all the specializations and get the clarity where I can do best & hence I chose marketing as specialization.
Internships Opportunities
I did my Internship with a startup, so I got the opportunity to learn from the basics & explore the various aspects of opportunities and alternatives for learning & understanding an organization.
Placement Experience
CRMC Department at Jim's gave us the platform to know & sit for well-known companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ITC, Aditya Birla and many others. During first-year Mock interviews were taken by Corporates & Industry Experts & after a year during summer break we got the opportunity to work & get to know the corporate world through summer Internship. That gave me the vision to think where to head and I chose marketing as my specialization. In second-year Industry experts were training and grooming us as per the Corporate Requirements, hence helping us crack the Interview in a first or second go.
Campus Life
life at JIMS was amazing, learning was fun and classrooms have not refrained to books. We had our best time in classrooms learning, exploring, debating with peers. Ethics & Morals were the base of the entire Education system there. Apart from academics, extracurricular activities were there. we had different clubs, marketing club finance club, the literary club also SSO, live projects case studies were the mandatory part. Our annual fest Verve was the most awaited one, as every year some of the other celebrity visited our campus & was the talk of the town for months.
Interview Experience
GD/PI round at Jim's was totally different experience. I prepared for all the current topics, but the paper was totally out of syllabus. I was extremely nervous, but that gave me the opportunity to think recall what I read during my graduation and to never give up on yourself, you know more than you think.
