Remarks

The college is good and the environment is good for studies and the college gives ample time for self-studies we just need to utilize that time. One remark is that the college does not have any indoor playing halls I would be happy if indoor halls are constructed for the students to play.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is good for competitive exams needs to read by oneself. The things one has to know that self-studies are the main mandatory things the syllabus is great but everything will not be thought so one has to go through it thoroughly. If one goes and reads the whole syllabus then one will definitely have a great knowledge of the subject. Yes, field tours are there mandatory and are there for 100 marks so industrial visits are a must and a project report has to be prepared and submitted to the concerned teacher.

Placement Experience

3.5

Though the subject which I am taken takes placements from gate net and GSI so direct placements for my subject are not there but placement facilities are there in the college as I myself has seen this year federal bank and Azim Premji's foundation had come for taking up candidates.

College Events

3.5

Yes, there is a grand feast celebrated in our institution that is Ankur all the schools and departments of the university participate in it. It includes all sports cultural events. Also, there are individual feasts conducted by the departments of the university and all can participate in them and enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, the fees are reasonable and are paid both online and offline we have to pay Rs 500 for each month for the hostel and 1650 rupees for the mess for each month. The money is collected semester-wise. The fees are transparent and we get the challans after paying our fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not opt for any scholarships but I have seen my friends applying for various internships and they have to fill up their forms then our hod sir gives his signature and the form undergoes various procedures.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is not that lively I don't why but it's a bit dull but the environment is ideal for studies. There is no gender or caste-based discrimination inside the campus nor there are any ragging systems on campus or hostel. The campus is very independent and students can enjoy independently. There are securities available for the protection of the students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. The hostel rooms are nice and there are attached bathrooms and in a single large room, 4 people will stay. We have also been provided with almirah racks and a balcony. There Are open gyms where students can go and do exercises.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni and senior students are good friends, and very helpful. There are online groups and common mail IDs of our department where information is provided.

Admission

An Entrance exam, results, then admission based on the entrance results. First, the dates were given in the sight of the central university of Karnataka. First, we had to go to Hyderabad theb to Gulbarga and the college is 21 km away from Gulbarga city so the government busses are available which helps us in reaching the college. First, we had to register and report our names to the concerned faculties and hod then the next day the results were declared and immediately we paid out admission fees and got our entry card.

Faculty

4.5

Phone number, email ids,8 lectures total all have Ph.D. and net qualified. They teach well. Yes, the teachers have industrial experience. All have great experience and most of them are very friendly. So you will have a great experience over there. One has to read by oneself and go and ask his or her doubts to the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.
