Remarks
On the whole the remarks on the college will be quite good and there are no bad remarks on the college
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very good one. The courses comprises of all the subjects that are research oriented and even the exam structure is a good one. The curriculum is satisfactory for now. But I felt that it has to be improved to provide industry oriented experience. In the final year there will an industrial visit program for the students to visualise the things that are already there in th curriculum and whatever we have learnt till then. And at last there will also be placement training in the final year for placement selections.
Placement Experience
There are many companies that came for placements and interships in our college for our course. The list of companies that came for placement are like FMC technologies, FIAT, JEEP, Cyient, worley parson, tcs, Honeywell, medhaservo, L and T technologies, Schneider electric, Capgemini, hind rect, quantium, and many more. The recruitment procedure specially follows a procedure of technical exam, group discussion and interviews of technical and hr. The average percentage of recruitment will be 90%. And even the institution provide the training procedure for the students in placement season.
College Events
Technical fest i.e. connaissance, cultural events, Teachers day, children's day, etc. The technical fest will be a national fest and is conducted for two days in the college. The fest will be very huge one and it is one in the top ten technical fests that are conducted in the country all over India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As the college is a state government University, the fee structure is feasible and economical, and for the scholarship holders there will be no exam fee if they are coming from home. The college does not provide and transparency in fee breakdowns as it is a state government.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship that I was opting for the college and hostel fee is the epass scholarship. It is provided by the state government for backward classes and the average scholarship I get will be 20000.
Campus Life
Gender ration is 2:3 for female to male. There are no Student parties nad there will be workshops in normal times as well as during fests time. There will be unity in college for every occasion. There are some student unions in the college like abvp, student federation of India and many more. There will be no problen fir the students regarding any discrimination that will be going in the college with respect to gender, race, religion etc.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I stay in hostel. To say about the hostels it will be sharing and as it is a government hostel there will be some problems that are associated with the maintainance that are provided in the hostel. The maintenance fees will be low and on average the fee that to be paid for hostels will be 2000 per month.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni network for the college is pretty good and the senior students are quite helpful and that interaction has huge impact on my college life. I have learnt al lot during my college from seniors.
Admission
I love mechanical engineering since my childhood. I love machine and it's working. The kind of feeling that will be there when we interact with machines and it's machanisms will be very satisfying and it seems to be alive. So, I opted for this course. When I wrote my EAMCET entrance exam, I had kept my options for JNTU as the first one and got selected for the seat. So that was all about the entrance procedure to the college.
Faculty
There will be approximately about 60 lecturers and professors I. The mechanical department. The average qualification for all the professors and lecturers is Mtech with some dual degrees and average age is about 45 years. The professors are highly professional and solve the student's doubts easily and quickly and there will be no problem in solving our problems. The provide industrial experience for the students every now and then.
