Ankur Ruhal's Review On Brindavan College Of Engineering - [BCE], Bangalore

Management should have to hire Knowledgeable teacher so that students can satisfy with their faculty. There is very less extracurricular activities. There is no internship program and all. Play ground is not proper. College Management should have to look at this.

I had heard so much about Bangalore's Education so i decided i'll do my engineering from Bangalore only. I tried to fill up comedk exam form but i was late to submit the form.So finally i took Management Seat in Brindavan College.

I've done my Engineering in Electronics and Communication. I wanted to do Civil Engineering but For Civil Engineering the management seat cost was too much and I couldn't afford so i took ECE. Lab facility and infrastructure are good. As i feel Electronics and Communication is a though branch compare to other branches, you have to study hard, you have to study other's branches subjects too. And there is less scope in the market.

College doesn't provide internship and all. Students have to do by their own from outside like BEL- Bharat Electricals Limited, BHEL- Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, DRDO- Department of Research and Development Organisation, HAL- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and some other private companies or wherever they want. I have done my Internship in BEL. And most of my classmates have done their internship in private companies.

I would like to give 0 rating out of 10. Bcz there is around 300 students in my batch in all Branches (ECE, CSE,ISE,ME,CE). Among of 300 students only 8/10 students got placed. Funniest thing is that non of them got their offer letter. Basically not a single student got placed.

I had celebrated culture event in college and few management events. Those events were so good and i had so much fun and had learned so may things from the events. But there was no technical event held in my college life.

If you studied 11th and 12th from Karnataka then your you can give CET exam and your fee will be very less. But if you studied 11th and 12th outside from Karnataka then you have to give comedk exam/ you will get seat through managemant.In both case you fee will be too much (1.275 L/annum ) and you won't get scholarship also.

If you are from Karnataka or belongs from Defence background then only you will get scholarship otherwise you won't get even 1 rupee.

My campus life was pretty good bcz of my friends. Labs were good.In a extracurricular there was Dance competition,Singing competition and so many other events. We had fun all these competition held good. But there was no competitions such as robotics and debates and all. In 4 years there was only 2 years sports competition happened.

I don't like to stay in hostels so i didn't took hostel. So I don't have any experience of Hostel life or their facilities. My all friends stayed outside.

Our Seniors were supportive and kind. If we needed any help they helped us out. If we had any difficulty in studying then they guide us how to study and provided their notes or anything whatever can help us.

Exam Structure was pretty good. Lab exams was scheduled before the theory exams. And we got 8-10 days gap in between lab and theory exams.It you don't have any backlog then you no need to worry bcz you will get min 1 day gap in b/w theory exams.

Few Faculty have good knowledge about their subjects. But Most of them don't have. And It's not their fault, It's college management's faulty bcz they hire fresher teacher who just completed their Engineering Degree.
