Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was nice with focus on covering all the required subjects. The university offers undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, fashion and apparel design, and pharmacy, leading to degrees of B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT, BFAD, and B.Pharma respectively.
Internships Opportunities
People go for internships on their own, no companies visit campus just for the sake of internship. Usually no stipend is offered to the students as they just go for internships on their own.
Placement Experience
Companies such as Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, L&T, IBM, Sopra group etc used to come. Average CTC offered is around 4 Lakhs. Some of companies such as Adobe etc. Offered high CTC of around 7 Lakhs but those options are very limited.
College Events
College has plethora of events including technical events, sports events etc. Which are sponsored by some PSUs or sometimes by some coaching institutes etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
All banks offer loan for the institute as fees is very low and also college has tie up with some if the banks such as CBI, punjab national bank etc.
Campus Life
College has huge ground where students can play cricket, football etc. Institute also has a indoor stadium where sports like TT can easily be played and enjoyed.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is not that strong as most of the people who pass out loose contact with each other. And college is not very focussed on maintaining alumni relations.
Exam Structure
Exams are conducted as per university norms, exams happen every six months. Exams are mix of standard questions and unstructured problems.
Faculty
Faculty was a mix from state government institutes as well as from premier institutes which included faculty who have completed MTech or Phd from IITs etc.
