College Review

The college is very good but also sometimes difficult to interact with college management.

The course curriculum and exam structure is perfectly maintained and driven time to time by the associate directors and examination branch respectively. The education provided with industrial oriented helps the students to learn practically. Though campus placements for mechanical engineers are bit disappointing, they can opt other companies in campus placements. There are industrial visits and educational tours are organised every year for college students.

There are less companies visits to mechanical engineering branch. Tech Mahindra, Nissan, systech, other few. The company drive follows Online test, Group discussion, Technical Round and Personal interview. The percentage of people placed every year would be approximately 20%. Last year 950+ students are placed in different companies from our campus. Every year institution train students for placements right from 2nd year.

College celebrates Ignite technical fest, Brumous Festa spring cultural program, Dj Nights, Traditional day, Fresher's and Farewell Day, Separately department celebrations. 60% students participate and enjoy the fests. The festivals conducted will be in a less scale. Other programs will be conducted in a very grand scale.

The fees for our batch is 83500 including NBA and JNTUH fees. Othr batch students have quite heavy fee structure around 1 lakh +. There will be no other charges to be paid during admission. If we don't get a admission through EAMCET or JEE we can buy the seats at some rate for every department. No, college don't provide much transparency in fee breakdown.

I haven't availed any scholarship for my course because I'm from general category and I've to pay all total fees. The other students do get the scholarship from government approximately 33000. The rest amount the particular student will pay.

The student gender ratio is approximately 4:10 (F:M). The campus is well built in 100 acres away fr the city with in no pollution area. The workshops are conducted very often in college and there are no such Ragging or gender, caste, religion, race, sexual, political, economical discrimination in the college.

I haven't opted hostel, because they're quite expensive. The hostel prices are allocated according to AC and Non AC. There will 3 students in every hostel room. The average fees paid will be around 80,000. The quality standards in hostel manitainence is properly maintained but in a very strict manner with lot of restrictions. In starting food will be very good, later the food quality is not maintained properly.

No the alumni are not much helpful. We have less interactions with seniors. If we had one, they guide us in explaining about college exams or timetables etc.

I got admission through EAMCET counselling. Based on the EAMCET ranking the college will be allocated for every student.i chosen especially this course because I'm really interested in mechanical engineering and I want to pursue aerospace following in my post graduation. Once the EAMCET ranking is done college should be chosen through online website. Then based on our rank the college will be allotted for students and we have to attend counselling for admission process according to the dates the college provides. Then the admission will be accepted.

There are approximately 35 to 50 lecturers are in mechanical engineering department. The average age of lecturers would be 30. The minimum qualification for them is M.Tech. they teach in a very appropriate manner for better understanding of the students. They interact with students and clarify their doubts. Each lecturer hold minimum 1 year industrial experience certification.
