Course Curriculum Overview
The course is excellent and it focuses on the practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The main focus is to improve the quality of engineering students they provide and help the nation and engineering move forward. Since the course is well balanced it leaves me not too tired at the end of the day so that I can develop my own skills and improve the already existing ones in my own free time
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are excellent since the College is of the top tier. They also provide internships, since I'm a first year student I haven't gotten any internships yet but from what I know some of the big companies that visited last year were Amazon, Samsung, Wipro and many more. Some students also get an opportunity to be a summer intern at famous Colleges such as Indian institute of technology Delhi etc.
College Events
The technical festival called aavartan is hosted every year with Electika as cultural fest and E-summit as management fest. They footfall vary from fest to fest but for aavartan and Electika they were about 10-12k and for E-summit about 6k.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the first year College fees(excluding hostel fees) 138000? Hostel fees 33000? The fee structure is feasible as it is not that expensive but one of the downsides are that not every students gets a hostel, hostel seats are given on the basis of merit.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College provides scholarship on the basis of category. OBC,SC/ST and gen-EWC have been provided scholarship if they pass the given condition. They get a fee waiver for College ad well as the hostels
Campus Life
The gender ratio is not so good with boys to girls ratio being about 5:1. The societies are many and they provide many opportunities. Sports facilities are excellent with a football ground, Cricket ground, basketball court, vollyball court and badminton court being provided seperately also they have an indoor gym and sports centre
Hostel Facilities
Hostel It has 2 variations that is 2 people per room and 3 people per rooom. They are given on the basis of merit and the facilities are moderate. They have a shared toilet and bathroom separate from the rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is huge and it provides us with many opportunities, the senior's are friendly and they do not take ragging that much. The interactions with senior's are helpful in college and placements
Admission
I got the College through jossa counselling based on my jee mains rank. I took the branch Information Technology under the course B.Tech because I had a keen interest in it since a long time. The counselling process lasted for 7 rounds in which we were allowed to freeze or keep going up the list of our choices.
Faculty
The faculty are PhDs in their respective fields and they tend to give their all when teaching students. They have a wide amount of knowledge and know alot about the courses. Students respect the facilities and value their time.
