My college JIMS

I really live the environment of my college. My college provide 18 days induction programme where we all lived at hostel. Those 18 days were help us to get habitual of long hours setting, learning, assignments, attending lecture, creative games for team building etc. I accept that our college doesn't have best canteen facilities but the study, management, opportunity are really good.

Well for any new students course look really leangthy as we have 12 subject per semester. But with the help of facilities we get cover whole subjects easily. It look tough at starting specially with assignments but soon get habitual. As a PGDM students we need practical leaning as well, so yes our college gave us practical leaning opportunity too by industrial visit and live project. Everyone student of my batch attended atleast 1 live project (max 5). If I talk about placement then we had winter internship at NGOs and everyone already selected for summer internship as well. My college also provide opportunity to manage event, campaign etc as any program, event, guest lecturer things arranged by students itself. Facilities guide us only but whole thing arranging finance to execute plan is our responsibility.

Earlier batch of my college are in 20s and from last 5 years there was 100% placement. College provide us skill development, business communication etc classes from semester 1 so we gradually get trained for interview.wealso had guest lecturer who guide us what yo do or not to do. Tell us what are there is actual corporate world etc. Zomato, swiggy, AU bank, botree, secure debt, ICC, collegeate etc are company (25+)there.

We had college fest, blood donation camp, cleanness campaign, health and care camp, Gurudwara seva, 26 January, holi celebration,etc are main function celebrated in my college where faculties and management part is approved plan and monitoring us all other work done by us all the students. All committees take responsibility of their field and other help them. Making plan, layout, arranging funds, execute plan, managing function, culture events are students responsibility.

I can't consider fee is expensive as JIMS provide SAP program under same fees structure.They also provide additional workshop which included in college fees. Yes uniform charges are separate. College accept online payment, check both. Fees structure are same for all submit in 3 installment but in emergency case they give 4 installment facility (for some candidates)

As such college not provide any scholarships opportunity and yes education loan is acceptable. Although I do t know much about it because I don't have education loan.

For our batch we have 60:40 girls:boys ratio. Campus is big enough as campus have different building for PGDM, engineering, architecture, defence academy, MBA etc. As a management student we don't have free time for sports but we do play sports once in couple of months (basketball, cricket, volleyball, badminton, carom, chess etc).

No but my friends are in hostel (outside campus). There is inside campus as well as outside campus are available for both girls and boys. As such there is not limited seat as college have some backup hostel as well. Rent of hostel and transport facility is 50000-70000.per year.

Yes senior are helpful but we don't get much time with them as all of them are still working with their internship companies. They came college for their class and exam. We have almost tight schedule so we hardly get met but whenever we need their help we get help by them through phones.

I clear MAT exam on Feb 2019, I was searching PGDM colleges myself as well as get call from college. Visit many Colleges. On 31 March my interview at JIMS got alloted. Where I cleared GD-PI and got result of GDPI within a week. I visited twice college before my results one for general meeting and know about course and stuff and other for my GDPI.

All the facilities of my college hold good qualifications as well as experience in corporate of their field. Some are still working at corporate. We have 1:30 hour lecture. 5 lecture per day usually. All the facilities are good as management take facilities feedback time to time. We have faculties mail id and connect number so if we face any issues regarding subject we can connect them even after college hours.
