Remarks

The campus lies in a beautiful place and the management are usually very helpful at getting things done.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course has been very help. Till date the things that I have learnt, I am able to apply the same problem solving skills in my work life. We have visited many places from the organization end to understand various technology ends. Also, regular convocations are held, and many Indian presidents have been present to grace the occasion.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement has been a tough part to be honest. Very few companies are visiting the college right after the recession hit around 2008-2009. There are too many colleges in India and this being in a remote location always faces a tough time. The rewarding point is the skill set that students aquire in the entire curriculum is way more deep than any other private colleges in India. Most of the students are bright and can easily crack any job interviews.

College Events

4

We have technological events and cultural events from the organizational end twice a year. One is called Sristi and the other is Racaf. Both are fun filled and we have huge participation from the whole college. Apart from that every regional festival is honored in this college, as students from all across India unite together to celebrate this occasions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite inexpensive. The perks of studying in a government college, is the tution fees. The whole tution fees including all the twelve semesters would be between 50000-60000 INR, which is quite low as compared to the fee structure in other private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, not from the college directly, but it can be availed from state basis. Each state has a merit scholarship, and one can take the benifit of that to compensate for the tution fees.

Campus Life

3

It is hard to explain in a few lines. To sum up, this a very good college, as students from various places in India come together and live, study and socialize on a daily basis. If I look at the bigger picture, I have enjoyed the learning process in various labs, competitions, sports. Everyone respects one another, and you can call it a mini India.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I have stayed in hostel. The facilities are not luxury but definitely can do with it. The price is subjec to the mess expenses for food and maintenance. Although it should sum up around 10000 INR per semester.

Alumni/Alumna

They have been always helpful and eager to meet whenever there is a chance. I am still connected to many on a social basis and everyone is doing well in their work life.

Admission

NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) 2020 is a state level exam conducted in three phases (NEE 1, NEE 2, NEE 3) for Certificate, Diploma and Degree Courses in Technology. The application fee was INR 600 for SC/ST/PD candidates and INR 1000 for General/OBC candidates through online mode. Aspirant must have passed class 10 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Faculty

4.5

Very kind and helpful. They have been supportive all throughout the courses. We had lot of subjects and many of them are very good at their knowledge and skills required for technical expertise. We had practicals guided by them, which were very helpful in understanding the concepts we learn in theory classes.

The course curriculum was good. But it should be better by including more practical and site visits for better learning. The exams were not that much difficult you can pass easily. Exam frequency was also good

The Electrical Engineering course curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering key areas like circuit analysis, electronics, and power systems, which has well-prepared me for real-world applications, although incorporating more hands-on projects and industry insights could further enhance its relevance.

The campus scenario is improving day by day but it is not still upto the mark. Many companies come for hiring but most of which offer only average package of 4LPA which is very less compared to other colleges. Highest package ranges from 8-10 LPA.
