The placement of Physics Department of St. XAVIER'S College ranchi is not very good but some companies like wipro, TCS etc comes every year. The tentative percentage of students placed every year from my college is approx 30% with average package 3.5 Lac

College Events

In our College many events celebrated like Famous "XAVIER'S UTSAW " ie XAVIER'S Fest, Christmas And many others cultural programs. In all this events Xavier fest is very famous which is three day celebration in which many events occurs like cultural programs, fashion shows rock show etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. In BSc physics Department the fee for year is approx 25000 right now. Exam fee is 750 per semester exam. No other extra fee charged by College. Mode of payment :- you can pay through Debit, credit cards, Bank Challan and through online payments. College provides transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you belong to Obc, St and Sc community then you will scholarship through government ekalyan There are many eligibility criteria that you can go through ekalyan officials websites.

Campus Life

Campus life :- small campus with limited playground like basketball ball and football and etc not playground for cricket. Gender ratio of physics Department is not good but for overall College is good. Every year many sports competitions organised by College like football inter Department tournament, basketball tournament etc And extracurricular activities happens in College.

Hostel Facilities

I haven't opted for hostel but I have a few knowledge about XAVIER'S hostel because my of my friends. There are three types of rooms available single bed, double bed and four bed. Average rooms rent yearly approx 10000 and food charges 1500 per months.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is available but I do not have much knowledge about the network. Senior students are very helpful.

Admission

I got admission in this College through passing the entrance exam that was conducted by College in the months of July 2017 and exam results declared after 10 day of exam. In entrance exam total 100 questions,70 from physics section and 30 from mathematics.

Faculty

The faculty of Department of physics of St. Xavier's College ranchi are very cooperative. You can ask your personal problems any time any Teacher in College hours. Best qualified and well experienced, average age approx 45 Qualification are from renounced university like IIT Delhi etc

I see a lot of students who struggled in maths, that's why I chose this course. If I talk about real-world examples, from number systems to multiplication, fractions and trigonometry to find the height of pole. Areas of improvement are to relate mathematics with real-world examples, use methods like Vedic mathematics, and also creative, active participation rather than rote memorisation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is itself a very difficult and complicated course , a student has to give his best in order to understand the concepts well . Cirriculum of the college is really nice you will get time to be prepared and prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits like IITJAM BIOTEC , GATB , CUETPG , AIIMS etc . the difficulty level is moderate if the student has prepared well and has clear concept in mind she can do well in exams.

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
