Educational Facilities at Compucom

Good Remark: management was very strict and did not entertain any kind of ragging.

Entrance Examination: RPET 2006 Rank: Between 14000 - 15000. This management of this college runs a well known software company as well i.e. Compucom Software Ltd. So since I was interested in computers I thought there will be more exposer towards the live projects as they have a software company as well.

College was affiliated to AICTE and was under Rajasthan Technical University, so the course curriculum was of Rajasthan Technical University.All the subjects in all 4 years were very specific to the engineering branch they were for.

I did internship in MTS (Sistema Shyam teleservices). It was of 45 days in Computer Networking. No Stipened was offered but it was a detailed training of how an ISP sets up its network including some visits to NOC(Network Operation Centres).

Multiple BPO and KPO organisations came for placements.Like A3Logics, Wipro, Genpact, HCL, Infosys. And students were offered a good work with reasonable salary packages.Some of the students were also got opportunity with Compucom Software Ltd as well.

Every year Engineer's Day was celebrated, Freshers Party, Farewell, Party Sports Day, Annual Day.

The fee structure was Rs 41000 Per Year. For a course of total 4 years. The college also provides scholarship for some students based on there financial condition and there knowledge.

Campus atmosphere was good, Laps for Engineering Drawing,Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry and computers were well equipped. There was no gender biasing or any sort of partiality based on cast or politics.

Hostel was good, rooms were given per student basis, though rooms were small but good for a single student. Internet facility was provided in Hostels. Clean Hostels Mess food was of average quality.

College management is well connected with all the students which passed out from there. Seniors are very helpful.

Exam structure were based on guidelines from Rajasthan Technical University For each Semester there were 2 Internal Exams followed by Practical Exams. The marks from Internal Exams and Practical were added in University Examination for Each Semester

The faculties were very qualified and have the in depth knowledge of the subject.Since the management was having a software company as well, we were having opportunity to get industrial exposer as well because of various seminars and projects.
