Review of SASTRA University

The college is very good and a student can mod up himself with all the resources available there

Course curriculum is really good and professional. Industrial visits are organized for the students. The course contains the usual MBA subjects which is designed by the institution since its a deemed univers. There's no specific industry specific knowledge is provided for the students.

Placement was really good. Companies like City Union bank, vasan eye care, kaarvy, came for campus recruitment. Usual interview process was followed by the Company and the institution prepares the students for placement

Progyan was a event that tool place in my tenure at the college. It consists of quiz, paper presentation, sovenire, culturals, participants are allowed from other colleges. Apart from this the engineering department have their own kind of events. Also food events are conducted by students.

Fees structure is feasible. My program fees was around 1.32 lakhs. Additional fees includes exams fees. The college provides transparency in fees breakdown. College Bus fees is separate. Only online payment mode is accepted by the college. Only first payment I paid at the college.

No I didn't opt for any scholarship or loan. I don't know about the procedures for getting the educational loans.

Campus life was awesome, lots of importance given to extra curricular activities. There's no conflicts between the students although many of them are from other states. There's no racism or any such negative discriminations at the institute. All the events are conducted in huge budgets with all facilities. There is a very good central library available which got good books and magazines.

No I was a day scholor and not opted for hostel. Since my house is just 40 mins travel by bus I didn't opt for hostel. There was frequent bus facilities available from my location to the college. Since it was a NH the bus facilities are good.

There's no alumini network. It's been 10 years now I didn't receive any communication regarding alumini meeting.

MBA is my dream. I chose this college because its really a great institution which earned a good name for decades. I got the application from the college and based on my under graduation marks I got admission. This college is near to my hone and there was frequent bus facilities available.

Very experienced faculty who have in depth knowledge about the subjects and drive students in a very professional manner. There are more than 100 lecturers and professors in this university. Every faculty has their own expertise in their subjects. For MBA most of the faculties are PhD obtained from renowned universities.
