Amazing Karnavati University

The infrastructure is very good and perhaps the best in the country. One must have 60 percent in Graduation and overall academic career and must have a valid CAT/XAT/MAT scorecard. For admission into undergraduate programs, there are exams like KUAT, DAT etc. The admissions take place between April to July. I preferred this college because of a superb personalised monitoring system ensured by the college where the faculty members concentrate and work hard behind each and every student.

I found their curriculum updated as per the industry requirement and every section is not having more than 30 students. The batch size was reasonable with 150 students and 5 sections. Each and every faculty are having on an average 10 yrs of academic exposure along with industry exposure. Most of them are having a PhD.

25% of the placement happens from Internship itself. Some of the students even get a high amount of stipends. The placement companies which come for campus interviews every year initially offers internship to all the students before going for the final placement drive.

The average placement package is 6 lacs. The highest package is 16 lacs. The lowest package is 4 lacs. The company offers a 3 tier placement facility at Regional, Zonal and International level with internships, pre-placement training and soft skill training. The reputed companies offering placements are Parle, Bisleri, Airtel, Vodafone, Axis Bank, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, TCI, TCS, IMRB, Oppo, Reliance Money, Religare, Nestle, Kurl On, Naukri.com, Kotak, JK Tyres, Idea, HDFC, HSBC, Google, Godrej, Delloitte, DCB Bank, Citi Bank, Asian Paints, 99 acres etc. 90 to 95 percent of the students are placed every year.

The course fee is Rs.650000 for 2 yrs and hostel charges are Rs 90000 per year. There are no hidden fees and college authorities are very friendly and honest.

The campus life is very festive with the celebration of festivals like Lohri, Pongal, Navratri, Durgotsav, Ganesh Chaturthi. The Karnavati Premier League for football and cricket is organized every year. The students are allowed to get involved in big events like Viaje- the annual fest, Youth Parliament and Ahmedabad Design Week. The students and teachers come from different parts of the country creating a cosmopolitan platform for sharing of cultural attributes.

There are 5 girls hostel inside the campus and one boy snd girls hostel outside the campus at a stone's throw away distance. There are a 500 seater AC cafeteria and a freak out fast food zone. The overall environment is very clean, green, pollution-free and hygienic. A wide variety of food is served in the cafeteria and food qualities are delicious and mouth-watering.

I prepared for the GDPI rounds on my own. The topics were like Globalisation effects and open economy, Women power in 21st century India etc. The interview round was very strict and I was interviewed by 3 faculty mem ers and final interview was taken by the Dean. I had to face 2 rounds of GD and w rounds of PI.
