Remarks
After the results of EMCET, I want to be in a good college so I started enquiring about many colleges and I came to know that CMRTC was good in management, regulations, academics, and placements. Many of my friends and seniors referred to this college. I opt for the Electronic and communication department which is an evergreen one.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum consists of 5 subjects and 3 labs each semester. A mini project and major project were included in the final year. Our labs were well equipped. The library was filled with books differentiated according to the departments which also include reference books, journals, magazines, and various documents for student reference. Classes are digitilized and frequent seminars were conducted. Many of our faculty are doctorates and they are expertized in their fields. The teaching of each faculty was unique, easily understandable, and content-filled. Faculty, Student ratio was well maintained and for every 5 students of each year, there was a mentor to constantly check up on the students. There will a midterm examination and assignments for every 2 and a half units. Theoretical knowledge was practically experienced in labs. Industry-standard training of ECE core like Lab-view etc is conducted.
Placement Experience
CMR tag itself "THINK PLACEMENT THINK CMR". We have an abundant number of companies visit the campus every year which includes both product-based and service-based companies. Placement based training was given for the students form 2nd year itself. At most of 80% of students placed in the companies. The average package was 3.5L.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every student who qualified for the TS EMCET examination is eligible for the reimbursement of 35000 to avail that the e-Pass Scholarship should be applied. The Student who topped in the year was given a cash prize. If any student involves in the research activity the financial support was given by the college. There were very few core-companies visits the campus but there is a good number of IT companies visit the campus with a huge requirement. I was placed in the reputed MNC, TCS with the training provided by the college.
Campus Life
Its been four years and I still remember the first day I entered the college with full doubts, confusion, nervousness but achieving the best of me was top prioritized. It's a new environment where freedom is given for acquiring knowledge and experiencing them practically. There are many non-curricular activities and events that take place in the college for the all-round development of a student. There was a yearly annual-day, traditional day, freshers, farewell, Tech fest conducted in the college. There are many workshops, seminars, motivation lectures are conducted in a frequent span. There are many Clubs like Robotics, Akrithi, Lexis, Sahaya, NSS, Photography, etc to explore a student in the interested field.
