Remarks

There are few shortcomings in the colleges, but when viewed from the broad view, we can see many positive facts about the college. The college management is very co-operative and help us in all the possible ways, sometimes they give us with lot of opportunities to make our future bright. The conclusion about college is that, I can proudly say that i"m AIT'n and happy to be here in the college.

Entrance Preview

CET, conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. Secured a rank of 5836, opted for electronics and communication engineering as i'm interested in communication field. I choose this college as it 35 year old college has better facilities than many other colleges in Bangalore. i got admission based on the cet rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Studying about communications, applying day to today life, as the communication field is evolving everyday, so it gives better room for research and the labs at college make the proper research possible. as i've taken Digital Switching Systems and Wireless communication, it gives complete basic knowledge about the evolution of telephone and the current mode of communication.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, luckily, our college recommend us for summer internships to some top reputed companies, personally i've 2 internships till my final year, first i interned at Accenture working in the domain of coding based on the software xlinx. in my 2nd internship i worked at Cognizant in the domain of cloud commuting, both the interns were very good in helping to secure more industry oriented knowledge.stipend i got from accenture was 10k and from Cognizant is 12k.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are quite good, as being in 7th semester i'm already placed in one of the mass recruitment TCS, and many core companies visit the campus, to name few are Microsoft, CISCO, IBM, Accenture and many others for recruiting the students from the college the average salary is about 4 lPA. last year nearly 400 students out 550 were placed.

College Events

4

Our college has two main events conducted every year, maitri (winter fest, intra college fest), sanskriti (summer fest, inter college fest), Apart from the these main events almost 5 branches carry their own fest, based on techicnal events, cultural events, there is separate unit called EDC(enterprenship development cell) which conducts management events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As the college is aided by the govt of Karnataka, so the fees is minimal and affordable30k is the yearly fees which includes tuition fees and other activities fees the college receives the fund from tequip so our labs are well equipped and sophisticated labs, there is no extra fees collected in the apart the fees we pay in the beginning of the year, so fees are very much feasible for almost everyone.

Fees and Financial Aid

MHRD provides the scholarship for students based on the marks and merit loans facilities are also provided, for financial backward students so that they can complete their studies.

Campus Life

3.5

The life at campus is always colourful, every new year, the college reopens and after few weeks there will be fresher's party, where we welcome the first years and our college is very strict about ragging, so its ragging free campus. The college has 2 canteens where we spend most of times and during exams time is spent at libraries, which will be opened till 10 o'clock in the night, so there is complete management between studies and fun, there is lot room of scope for sports, the sports room has, shuttle court and gym. The gender is ratio is also equal and there is no discrimination on the sexual grounds. there is no politics involved in the college. The economics status is medium and no huge difference where one can feel bad about. There are students from all over india so there is diverse learning condition, which is makes college life fun and frolic.

Hostel Facilities

4

As i stay in hostel, so i can tell proper facts about hostel, there are 3 hostels for boys, 2 hostel for girls, Mess has two wings, South indian food wing and other is north indian food wing, both men's and ladies hostel are separate and are guarded by security round the clock, Both the hostels are equipped with wifi as well as LAN to access the internet, round the clock.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful and college has history of 30 years so the alumni network is very good and many are at high position and help the college in many ways.

Exam Structure

Well, exams always brings the chill in the spine, We have the following structure 1. 3 internal assessment exams with monthly gaps which will be conducted over 3 days, lab internals test will be conducted, lab externals will conducted, semester end exam at the end of every semester. Mostly on the days of labs, it feels hectic, but labs will be their for only 2 days a week, so its fun.

Faculty

4

The faculty are highly qualified, few have doctorates from IIT's and others are from renowned institutes, only handful of the staffs aren't having the doctorates. they share their knowledge and guide us in right direction, based on our interests. The standard of teaching is effective and the way we are evaluated is quite good, as we take # internal assessment tests, lab tests and final exam, so its better way to asses the knowledge we secured during the semester.
