My college experience.

Our college is neither strict not liberal good infrastructure.

Public exams and entrance exam conducted by tamilnadu government entrance exams contained subjects like Maths, Physics & Chemistry.

Totally, there were 8 semesters. First semester had the subjects like physics, chemistry and the curriculum was common to all the branches of engineering from the 2nd Semester, I had subjects related to my group (i.e) Computer science we had 'environmental studies' as electives.From 2nd Semester, we had labs.

I had my college internship in an IT firm at Bangalore named Infineon no general stipend was offered except the food coupons during the internship.

Around 10 companies came for placement in our college the companies include Wipro, Infosys, NTT Data, Cognizant, Virtusa, etc. The average package for the freshers was 2.75 Lakhs.

College founder's day is celebrated on every year it's a grand event and around 2500 students participate in the event. Technical symposium's will be held every year by the corresponding engineering departments.

The yearly fees was around Rs. 38000 the amount was not feasible we took the education loan to pay the fees the semester exams fees will be around Rs. 1000.

Scholarships were provided to the poor students colleges provided documents to the students for acquiring education loan from the financial institutions.

Sports were given importance i participated in a hand ball match representing our college the college is tolerant for all the students debates were not encouraged much.

The hostel fees was around Rs. 30000 for an year hostel had very good infrastructure, good canteens, spacious rooms, high speed internet facilities.

Alumini network is not good after graduating from the college, the alumini function is held once. I don't have any interaction with my alumini (except my college friends).

We had 8 semester exams in the 4 years of college 2 Semester exams will be held in an year 3 tests will be held for a semester.

Some of the faculties were senior staffs the faculties were knowledgeable and supportive. The faculties cleared the doubts of the students effectively not all the portions of the subjects were covered by the faculties as we had to do self learning.
