Good college.In Sinhgad institute of technology all faculty members are good. every faculty is present in this college.they are always ready to give proper guidance.labs are well maintained and every lab is available in this college
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is fine, C++ was in our course as a subject and i had already studied that in 12th so apart from that curriculum is fine. Exams take place twice a semester. Mid sems having half the syllabus with 50 marks in each subject. End Terms are of 100 marks with full semester syllabus and both exams have practicals of their own. Midsems are 2 subjects exams in one day and in Endsems are 1 subject in one day. Study gaps in between end sems exam are there but not in mid sems.
Placement Experience
Placements are great in our College. Latest being 29 lakhs package in Cisco. Major IT companies come to our College such as Wipro, Infosys etc. College do provide internship. But I haven't been taken any Internship so I don't know about that much.
College Events
In this Sinhgad institute of technology. Every engineering branches takes lot of events and programs. Such as Yuva mohtsav . Sports events,techno event,Desta event. In techno event senior organisaes events .
Fees and Financial Aid
I was given scholarship based on my 12th marks so that's one. And the other one I got was Defense Personnel Scholarship as my dad is in Army. Both are 5% of tution fees. Scholarship based on merit increases as your merit.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are good. We have all sports from Football to Basketball. We have Pool table and Badminton court. Table tennis is also there. Computer Labs are having high tech facilities. Freshers are taken to FRI. Excursions are there.
Alumni/Alumna
In Sinhgad institute of echnology alumni network is also available.some of alumni provide scholarship for encouragement of students for their projects.senior are very good.and alos there are no sign of ragging.
Admission
I got admission in n.b.navle Sinhgad College of engineering kegoan Solapur. Through government quota.First you need to register on their site. After that you need to set college preference and course.there wiil be three rounds. after getting desired college you need to submit your documents to arc centre for verification and then you will have to take admission.
Faculty
Faculty is Highly qualified and is very helpful. You just need to reach out to them. Other than 1 or 2 faculty, others are the best you can get in their own respective fields. Maths faculty in particular is not that great but other than that it's all fine.
