Great for placements especially for CS-IS students.

Great for placements. Not that great for learning but the over experience of the college is quite good. Really good infrastructure like it has a cricket, football, hockey, basketball, table tennis, kho kho, badminton, lawn tennis grounds and even a gym. All of which is free to use. The college has a total of 7-8 canteens where you can get a variety of food and also has a salon for the haircut need of the hostelites.

Every sem has 5 internals and one sem end exam which would be considered in 50-50 ratio. Out of the 5 internals 3 are written and the rest 2 are either by the choice of the teacher or the students which again depends on the teachers. These 2 tests can be a quiz, assignments, projects or another written test. Always ask for projects as it is quite helpful for your placement activities. The overall course curriculum is quite standard but there is a new cource called CSBC by the information science branch where the whole cource is curated by TCS.

The college starts to get internships from the beginning of your 6th sem. Companies and that too reputed companies come in great amount during your 7th sem. And come with variable pay. Intuit which gives the highest pay of 25 lakhs PA takes more than 3 people every year so does Cisco which will come more than twice to the college for different roles. I have gotten placed in INFOGAIN right now with both internship as well as full-time with a stipend of 18k per month and 3.5 lakhs per annum CTC.

1) Annual interbranch sports tournaments. 2) Annual techfests by almost all the branches. 3) Annual literary fest - Shabd. 4) Annual cultural fest. This includes auto expo, concerts by top and international celebrities. And many pre fest events like laser tag, cricket, football, paintball and so on.

Loads of scholarships are given every year to s lot of students based on the merits as well as their quota. I am not quite sure about them or the loan facility that is offered by the college. But quite a lot of my friends have applied and got admitted to the college through student loans.

Extremely helpful in telling us how to properly channelize our talents. The seniors keep parties and other things for the juniors to interact with them and hence make a good senior to junior relationship.

I was admitted in the year 2016 through COMED-K. The process is quite simple. After you give the exam which is conducted annually all over India. You'd be called to select a seat based on your rank. And get to chose the available seat for the college of your choice and branch of your choice. Rest of the process is just formalities like taking contact details and so on.

The faculty is pretty average. But if it's not IITs or NITs you got to self study. So don't depend on the staff and study atleast 1 week before the internals. Which would be more than sufficient to score more than 8 CGPA which is all you need to get to write all the companies that will come for your branch.
