Better place to pursue a batchelor degree

good teaching staff, good infrastructure, labs and classrooms are decent and there are very good environment for study as well as extra curricular activities in the college. There are big library, e- library, computer lab.etc. There nothing negative to say about it.The commute to the main town is very good. The public transport facilities around the college is very good.The college focuses on your overall development and not just academic development so your personality also develops. Only bad thing I can say is placement support is not that great as we were expecting.

According to the curriculum, it was almost driven most likely from Anna University's curriculum. I think the given curriculum is vital for the students to face an core based industries but here, the practice towards the application and practical experience and knowledge is poor. Securing an placement within the campus, here, is not a big deal with the curriculum provided but the placing company, that matters, not good enough for an core based companies. Inplant trainings and industrial visits are not at all organized by the University but encouraged towards it and the students are advised to take part in this by their own.

And the institute is collaborated with SMART to develop softskills of the students in order to get prepared for the interview in the placement sessions

Symposium will be conducted yearly by the department with both technical and non technical events conducted and also workshops and seminars will be conducted. In 2020 they have arranged an national level symposium ( postponed without a proper date. Due to corona managing issues). And for 5 years once they'll conduct a great cultural (sparkz) that will be hosted by local famous people and actors and will have a dj night, participants over a lot of colleges and events.

I opted for scholarship based on my CGPA. The eligibility criteria for getting scholarship is to score above 7.5 cgpa to get 10% of scholarship form total fee of 100000, abv 8 to get 25% and abv 8.5 to get 50% scholarship.

Alumni network of Kalasalingam University is quite good. They are helping students actively even after they left college. Seniors are like your elder brothers and sisters. They are very helpful in guiding you supporting you in every manner. You never get bullied by them. From this college many students achieved higher position in the many fields in the country and out of country. In every year alumni association festival is done in the college and lots of alumni participate and Guide to the junior.

I opt B.tech in ECE here, because of the lab facilities available is comparatively good and staffs are good enough. first of all, the infrastructure and campus is vast compared to any of the colleges/universities in southern Tamilnadu and they have a central library having lacks of books and stuffs and they also have an IRC lab with advanced equipments. The procedure to be followed for the admission is simple, either you should have a merit or JEE( ranking above 50000) or by an interview with entrance exam.

About 20+ faculties are there in my department or course of having an average age about 30 and most of them are holders of PG, doctorates. Most of them are having a good applictive knowledge with respect to the industry and curriculum but most likely to deliver it when it comes to language. Literally they lag to communicate in English. But most of the faculties have an authorised certificate and experience from the industries.
