The college is an average college. Not much to add to its credits. Management must improve and should be less money minded.
Entrance Preview
I took common entrance test(cet). My rank was 24000 approximately. I chose this college based on the review given by one of my senior and was inspired by the atmosphere of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affliated to vishveshwaraya technological university. So, you'll find the course a little challenging. My stream was computer science. How ever the challenge would be based on how well you are interested in the course you are studying.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't provide any internships. Hence no stipends. Students must themselves find internships. There are few companies that come into campus recruitment for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are good. The placement department makes best of efforts to provide job opportunities to the students. Some companies that visit are Tech mahindra(3.27lpa) IMS health care(3.25lpa) razor think, NTT data, Incadea(3.00lpa)
College Events
The college has a main intra college fest called samskruthi celebrated every summer. And each department have their own fests. The computer science department celebrates code o Ville. Which I just at college level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure compared to other colleges is feasible. The college fee comes around 17000 which compared to other colleges is decent enough.Separate money is collected for exam fee, blue books. Tuition fee is around 40000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't provide any loan or scholarship facilities. The students have to avail university and government scholarships. I don't think there's any deduction in the fee too.
Campus Life
The campus is pretty good. A cool place to hangout. The management sometimes act silly when they see a mix in sex group. A little narrow minded, people from all background and religion are found in the campus
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is not really good. However new hostels are constructed with attached bathroom facility. The hostel has a mess which is a mess. The hostel fee around a year costs about 70000-80000. The canteen is pretty decent. The food quality goes with the money for them.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is rarely conducted. The network among senior students depend on your own rapport. However, the alumni can be a little better and it is improving every year.
Exam Structure
The college provides three internals, the average of best of two will be considered as the final average. Labs have two or one internal depending on the department. The exam are quite chilled out.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are good enough. Some of them spoon feed and some don't. Since we are in engineering it's better to least accept things from them. They are professionally qualified. Though the quality sometimes is questionable.
