Remarks
Overall our university is a good one. There may be some lacuna but the teachers are very good and helpful. In comparison to other colleges out one is way far better then those. The curricular activities are very much actively performed.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is mainly practical based course and it falls under applied science. It has a large scope for research works on agriculture. The exam is done on semester system and in between the internal exams are organised. Semesters are held after every 6 months. It is basically a 4 year course and total 8 semester are held.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities is quite good in case of our course. Almost all the students get job in both public and private sector. Our college doesn't provide any internships so I cant describe my experience.
College Events
There is a long list of events celebrated in our college such as Holokarshan which is related to Agriculture,Briksha ropan which is a tree plantation programme,Basanta utsav which is the holi festival and many more events are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, till now we are not given any type of scholarships from our university. The scholarships that we avail are either given by given by state or central government or may be from prive treaties to the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the alumni and senior students are very much helpful snd the guide us in a very good way. Many senior students are very much successful and gives us inspiration. They help us to crack difficult exams and guide us to take right decision.
Admission
I applied for admission and merit list was made on the basis of the marks of the subjects asked for. It was held online. On the merit list my name was on 30th position and I was called for documents verification and after that I was admitted in the college.
Faculty
The faculty are good but in some extent it needs improvement. The facilities are there but still there are some lacuna. There should be some improvement in the infrastructures. The practical classes are not so much interactive.
