Life beyond technology

Overall the college is good. But speaking about the infrastructure development must be made that's the only remark. The university must take a upper hand on these issues because this college was the first in the university history to conduct IT fest in Kerala.Still after 26 years the situation has not changed.

Actually it's one of the best course you can do in IT field rather than a engineering degree.cyber security and forensics have a great scope in upcoming cyber generation. Beyond the academics there are a lot of extra certification courses we must do to get a basic understanding in the field. Exams are completely based of computer organization and programming. Focusing on the basics of object oriented programming the exams are conducted. Moving on python plays a vital role knowing the fact that python must be done to learn ethical hacking. Exam are quite simple in 1st year moving it becomes a bit creative.

No actually there are no internship provided in my college. Placement cells are still functioning good. Job opportunities are completely based on our creative ideas and programming excellence.other private agencies are calling the students for the interview. There are a lot of private instituitions which makes us ready for IT job interviews.

There are lot many events that are being conducted in our college the major one is Tech Tatva in which the student are allowed to showcase their ideas and protected that they have built. International conferences, national conferences, workshops,Ethnicday, Cultural fest etc.

Feasible for all. There are scholarship available for all students on state Merit and caste basis. For SC ST there is a fee relaxation. Not much expensive though this is a simple college. The city is bit expensive for middle class people.

State Merit list available for all Loan facility is based on individual financial background. College is not offering any loan facility. Though it's a feasible amount. Caste based loans are available I hope so. Though I'm not reserved don't know much about it.

There are good not excellent compared to other colleges in the city. College faculty are trying to make a good sports hub but due to a low infrastructure it's a bit tough job. Labs are good for all students are comfortable with the criteria we have in our college.

Yah the seniors are very helpful for me as well as the other students giving them the right guidance on all academic matters. They help us giving info about companies and different academies were we can do further certification courses.

Admission through merit list of Mahatma Gandhi university Kerala. through centralized allotment I was allotted in 3 allotment.In each allotment a fixed no of students are allotted based on their marks there is a separate allotment for reserved castes.Though I belong to general class there was a huge competition here. I was basically interested in chemistry but eventually I couldn't make up to it.Then I got admission in this college for BSC cyber forensics which is one of the rarest course comparing with other graduation. Now I'm happy to learn many things because I was from biology background so comming into a different circumstances was a bit akward but now it's awesome.Now there are a lot of job opportunities for this field and in the field of cyber security in India so I'm happy to be a part of this expanding technological world.

Actually it's a bit sluggish not because of their management but because of the university. MG University is now one of the most lagging and the most controversial university in Kerala. So according to my opinion college faculty are doing there best.
