Remarks
Attitude of the faculty and the working staff after the lecture gets over you just can't sit and discuss in the class the peon takes everyone out of the class and locks the classroom there is nothing positive to be honest but college is filled with marathi crowd.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decided by the Mumbai University which is why it is a bit outdated but from next academic year which is from 2019 Patkar Varde College has become a Autonomous College in which they can decide the syllabus and exam structure, no Unit test are conducted for BMM degree they are taken for others the only exam you have to give is in the end before every semester ending.
Placement Experience
Yes the college does provide internship opportunities the experience is good however the interview is conducted at their office also the timings are college friendly timings in which you can attend college and then go for the internship.
College Events
Each department has their own Annual event Aided and Unaided section the biggest events in the college are Mediatainment by BMM Altis by BMS, Bio Zest by the Bio department and so on it always takes place in the month of December.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible depends on what course you took like the aviation course is about approx 60k and a BMM per semester fees is around 25k so no its not so expensive when we look at other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Freeship is offered but only based on reservation General people don't get it it's only for OBC, SC/ST group of students in which they get scholarships. I think but I am not sure sarswat bank provides loan facility.
Campus Life
It does have extracurricular activities such as NSS, NCC, table tennis, boxing ring etc the science labs here are very big it has its own separate building and they are quite good I cannot comment more as I have never went there.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are helpful again depends from department to department I am now aware of any alumni network there is no bullying or ragging taking place in the college from what I have seen till now.
Admission
After getting my HSC marks I went to the college website in which I saw that I had to fill an admission form online on college's website so i filled that it charged me Rs100 and then after that it's gives you the admission form online you need to take a print out and go to the respective office with the form and then they will guide you this how I got my admission.
Faculty
It's okay don't expect a lot is what I would like to suggest as some are approachable and some are not approachble this is what I would like to say that in the end its patkar you will get an okay faculty and have to study on your own.
