Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is quite modern us some ways. There are two major exams in every semester. Mid sem evaluation test(weightage 30%) & end sem evaluation test(weightage 50%). Rest 20% marks are awarded based on assignments, class tests, viva, projects etc depending on subject requirements and respective professor.
Placement Experience
College provide research internships. Different departments provide different amount of stipend for that. Also placement cell of SVNIT is very active. So the placements are good. Avg 60% students get placements in various industries.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure for our batch was feasible. But then government decided that they will not pay fees of students. So they have to pay whole 100% fees. Therefor fees now are around 45-50 thousands per semester. However, for economically backward class students, there are some scholarships.
Campus Life
Yaa labs, sports teams all are good with good equipments and good place to store the drugs and for the preparation of pharmaceutical preparations such as drugs like tablets dosage forms and with good storing place
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is really nice. Only some of the national institutes have similar or higher quality hostel. Hostels are well managed. Cleaning is done daily. There are single rooms available for 3rd & 4th year students.
Admission
Apply in JOSSA portal. Then, there will be data verification process at nearby help centre (generally nearby NITs of IIT College campus). Then, there will be acceptance of seat. For that, you have to report at respective College where you are allocated a seat.
Faculty
Most of us had mixed feelings. Some of our professors are very good, very knowledgeable, good teacher, good mentor. And some were there to just be hurdle in the growth of a student. Overall speaking, Faculty was good, Not best.
