Positive - Civil & mechanical branches have got accreditation from National Bureau Accreditation. Negative - As this college is 55 years old infrastructures are not upto the mark. Few machines are not working due to long time.

Course curriculam is quiet good. Everything is included which is required for a practicable engineer. There is two exams in each year ie, one exam per semester. Two mid term exams are held per semester. Average of the two are considered for the result computation.

Placement record of my college is average. Every year 6-7 students get placed from each core branches. And 9-12 students get placed from each other non-core branches. No, my college doesn't provide internship.

Each & every laboratory is well equipped with machines and tools. Laboratory of civil, mining & mechanical department are having number of machines which is the highest number among all the colleges across chhattisgarh. Separate computer labs are provided for each branch.

As my college is 55 years old so its alumni network is highly vast. Alumnus of college are working in abroad like USA, Australia, Dubai, London, Singapore etc. Some of them are having their own company across India. Some are doing highly paid job. Every year merit students are rewarded with alumni fund. And 1 student which is branch opener of each branch get tuition fee waiver.

An entrance exam called CGPET held every year to take admission in various engineering colleges across Chhattisgarh. After declaration of result, online counselling is to be held in which candidates fill their preferences ie, in which college and in which particular branch they want to opt. On the basis of seats available in each college candidates are alloted for the seat in particular college. In total there will be 3 round of counselling.

All the permanent faculties are well knowledgeable. Obviously, part time teachers are not upto the mark but they always want to give their best. All the HODs are PHD holders and the assistant professors are M.Tech. from IIT, NIT. They are easily available for uswhenever we need them. They guide us for competitive exams as well as to be practical.
