Remarks

Remark would be just regarding to the present dull condition of the college i will just like to say that the college used to be good and interesting but it's not so now. It can be good again like other colleges are but it needs some changes. I see my friends in other good colleges like delhi university colleges they are like something interesting apart from studies is always going on somewhere in the college but it's sad to say that it's not so in my college. It needs to be changed so that i can say i love my college.

Entrance Preview

I gave the UPSEE exam to get admission here. I opted for this particular course only because i was quiet influenced by my family members who were already doing engineering at that time.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course curriculum was simple and straight like you will be taught for 4 years in which there will be some regular workshop, lab programs, classes, test sessions etc and at the end of the 3rd year i.e. in 4th year, several companies and MNCs will visit the college and will be interviewing you in different ways to hire you for job.

Internships Opportunities

Our college has not yet enrolled me into some internship thing as currently i am in my 3rd year of btech so may be next year i get to enroll in such things.

Placement Experience

2

Upto that much i know the maximum placement package that has been offered this year is around 3 to 5 lakhs and the companies which visited the college were infosis, hcl and ravelcom. There are some other companies also but i dont remember which ones actually came. The placement percentage of the college was approximately 70% I guess.

College Events

3

There are regular annual fests called g-quasar which is organised every year in march. Its a big 2-3 day fest and its quiet good actually as they orgainse some seriously amazing events like dance events, nukkar nataks, racing events, some cultural events, sunburn, celebrity night and a lot more things. This is the time of the year in which everyone enjoys the college life to the fullest and rest of the year there used to be regular workshops and some small small events which has probably come to an end this year because from when this new 3rd year has started nothing much interesting or a good worshop or event has taken place in the college it has become seriously boring now. There held a small freshers party of a few hours with nothing special in september which used to be so massive at the time i was in my 1st year. May be this was because our new director or i dont know what has happened to the college. Till last year there used to be regualr worshops n events which i hv attended but this year nothing is being held in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee in my 1st year was 1,06,000 and know it is 1,19,000 in my 3rd year. Its quiet expensive for what we are getting in the college and because of some hikes in fee various stricks were done by students last year which came out to be succesful upto some extent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Some scholarships were arranged for the students whose family income is less than 2 lakhs and they were provided a chance to fill in some scholarship form with the proofs of the income and then submit that to the college so that they can get the decided scholarship and many of them actually got those scholarships. I know some of my friends who got the scholarships.

Campus Life

3

The gender ratio is 3:5 where 3 is for girls and 5 for boys. There are no hostel parties. There are clubs in the college that are particular for each branch and helds events and worshops relatively to their branches. Robotics, ethical hacking workshops used to held till last year but i dont know about this year something like those are going to happen or not. Sports and extra curricular all are held at the time of our anual fests by college rather than that if any group of students wants to organise some unofficial sports event then they can by themselves.

Hostel Facilities

2

I dont use any hostel or PG. I stay at my home and travel to my college daily by a regular private owner bus.

Alumni/Alumna

The interaction with the senior students was good like there was no ragging in the campus but it was so in the college hostel but i was not there so I didn't get to face all that.

Exam Structure

Ya offcourse the exams and labs are very frequent infact i will say regular proper timetable has been maintained for the labs. And exam structure is like the internal exams will be held in the form of sessionals, PUTs, lab exams and viva. The external exams are held by AKTU( APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) previously knows as UPTU. They organise the theory and practical exam for each subject at the end of the semester.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is good, regular and informative but not that good enough to teach students the way they should to make the students understand and get what the teacher is actually trying to tell them. Not all the teachers are the same some faculty members are also there who are quiet responsive, interactive and who know how exactly a student should be taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
