Remarks

I go to college for the sake of my degree. The college isnt good for average or weak students. The student will get a degree but land up no where until and unless they are street smart. The good students make their way out on their own. The college is trying its best to become a better version and I hope it succeeds whereas until now it's a totally average college with rules of a school. With entry timing and not letting students go out until the classes are over for the day.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course structure is provided by the university to our college. Our college is affiliated to the North Bengal university. We are given to do projects every semester in which we are expected to do a research on the topic provided to us. We get one project each for every subject. We are provided with the college library to do our researches and take help from teachers as well. Every year we get to do this twice as there are two semester in each year. The exams are comparatively easy to pass and score an average marks. I have never stressed out in any exams till now.

Placement Experience

1

There is no placement provided by the college. It is on the student to look for a job. The college expects us to do the internship every semester. The college does not exactly provide internship but if we ask we may get some help from the college. So far I have done internships on my own and did not take any help from the college. I have never received any stipend from the internships that I did except for the one I did with my own father as he is a lawyer.

College Events

1.5

Fresher's welcome, farewell, Law conclave, mock parliament are some of the events organized by our college. These are small events and there are no any major events organized by the college. The college is a bit narrow minded on the programs that has some late night dj and stuff that most of the college students get to enjoy during their college days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

48000

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not offer any kid of scholarship to the students. And there is no loan facility given to the students but one can pay their annual fee in a quarterly basis. So that makes its easier for one to pay their fees.

Campus Life

2

62

Alumni/Alumna

I don't have much experience with the alumni but a few that I know of are the ones who feels that our college doesn't have a good faculty. And talking about taking help from them, our college happens to be a new college and the students that have passed out are still struggling with their career to give any proper advice. There are a handful of seniors who are good in studies and helpful else most of the seniors good in studies are useless Bunch of people who doesn't wanna do anything for others but take all the credits themselves. Whereas the seniors who are average or weak students are the friendliest people. It's fun hanging out with the seniors.

Admission

The college let's anyone who has scored more than 45% in their 12th board exams. I chose b. Com llb as my course because I always wanted to be a tax advocate. There were no interview in particulate. I just had to go to the college and get my admission done and pay the fees.

Faculty

2

The faculty in our college varies. There are some good faculty members and some terrible. Most of the faculty members are post graduate degree holders and a very few are PhD. Some of the faculty members just teach for the sake of teaching while some teach with their interest.

As our seniors got jobs this year the highest package is 50000 per month and she is currently working in a corporate law sector. Almost 72 to 80% students get placements. Reviewed on Sep 7, 2022(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.
