Remarks
Positive side is focused on study. Negative is that it will feel like school and you will feel bounded, not a college. If you are looking for real college life I will suggest you not to go here,as you will be really disappointed.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course which is provided by RTU is quite out dated but institute on its level is tring to teach new technologies and make new study projects for students. Exam structure is quite simple, course take 4 years in completion and every there there are 2 semisters which have 2 midterms and 1 end term. Marking ratio is 1:4 between internals and externals respectively.
Placement Experience
If someone is all clear whichout backlogs then there are many job opportunities. Companies like Infosys, capgamini, penacle come for drive. Internship is not good as student need to find companies by own and no company is willing to pay infact they charge around 8k to train us. College try to send students to some companies which have tie up with them. But I strongly believe that students should not go there.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in college which includes college fest and a day for showing projects make by final year students to juniors for inspiration. Other then that all national holidays are considered and there is a flag hosting ceremony on Republic and independence day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I was student fee structure was like 70k for year. 4 years makes 280k and hostel was provided for 90k per year. Hostel food and rooms were quite nice as compared to other colleges having same fee structure. Well student can also live in private hostels avg costing around 50k per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Only top rankers of each batch are given scholarship and loan facility is also provided by different banks which will give student loan easily. Students can also win scholarships by giving enterence test.
Campus Life
Institute lacks in extracurricular activity, there are teams of basketball and volleyball but they are not given right path for higher matches, like university level or state etc. Labs are good enough containing all things needed in engineering.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, there is a event organised by college which invites alumni of different batches to interact with final year students and even juniors, so they can create better networks and find a job easily and bond.
Admission
I got exam though interview but there are other sources like jee marks. And there is management quote also but I suggest not to give donation. Other then that there is enterence test conducted by Poornima University.
Faculty
Faculty is quite supportive but sometimes they also have problem in completing course on time so they need to be strict, and faculty with well experience are shifted to pce ie top ranked college of poornima foundation.
