Above Average

Well i guess i should not be saying bad about the college as i have spent 4 years of my life there. But i really wish the management was a bit more organised and much more student friendly. Specially the fees and the accounts department.

AIEEE and UPTU. I chose this college as it was closer to my house and a nominal priced private university.

The course was good with 3 electives post the 2nd semester. And it was mostly electives post the 5th semester. Like more of practical knowledge, rather than theoretical, as the cource was intended to be so.

There was a whole buffet of companies, i even know a few who went for microsoft. There was no specific internship provided by the college though. All they were concerned was about was the certificate you had, and if the company was a govt sector company, u'll get good marks.

1st there was the freshers party which was actually a good event. Yearly we used to have rock bands coming an and presenting live. There were a few cultural events as well. But my favourite were the coding and the robotics events.

The fees was intended to be 50,000 per year tution fees, which unfortunately increased by 15-20 % every year. I remember giving a fine for no reason for 20,00 and my security deposit is still not back.

Not really, but there were a few policies for lower income group people. I remember one of my friend's whole fees getting reimbursed.

The life on campus at the beginning wasn't that great at first, but eventually as i made new friend and interacted with more and more people, the campus life felt good. Specially during the cultural and the technical festivals.

The hostel quality was fine, non ac rooms but the cooler was allowed, with a common shared washroom for like 50 people sharing 5 bathrooms, so there used to be a que in the morning.

The seniors were the main teachers at the college, without their help, i don't thing i would have passed.Specially the seniors who rag you become your best guides throughout your campus life.

The exam structure constituted of 6 theory and 3 practilas in each semester till the 6th sem. Then 5 theory and 4 practicals in the 7th sem. 4 theory, 4 practical and 1 project for the 8th sem.

The faculty was a bit on the below average side as most of them were recent graduates from the same deemed university. There was alot of knowledge loss as they somehow lacked a bit in their english language standards.
