In UPTU Instrumentation was only provided by GALGOTIAS and JSS college so I preferred GALGOTIAS because of its previous PLACEMENT record and FACULTY.

Instrumentation and control is basically studies of electronics and some aspects of mechanics some of its major branches are engineering mathematics, transducers, sensors, signal and system, control system, network theory, microelectronics and optimal control galgotias faculties are highly qualified means they studied from nits ans iits and having brief theoretical and practical knowledge.

I had done my internship from INDIAN RAILWAY and learn basics of WELDING, ELECTRIC MOTORS and TRACK MACHINE ORGANIZATION. Period of internship was 2 month and they discuss very briefly about how diesel engine work and tracks was maintained and organize.

Galgotias had organized a combine placement program with galgotias university and gcet in which many it companies takes place like cognizant, infosys, wipro, tech mahindra, erricson, ibm and various small scale companies also participate like face academy, fare labs etc basically the range of ctc is between 250000 to 380000 max ctc was offered by cognizant and least by wipro a total of 1200 student was placed initially by cognizant, infosys, wipro and mahindra in which approx 550 student was placed only by cognizant.

Galgotias has annually organize gquasar (college fest) and invite celebrity from bollywood and other field, in 2014-15 session raftaar had comes to our college gquasar was held for 3 days and it consist of technical and cultural events like robowar, junkyard war etc. all the branches has participate and inter branches competition wad held.

Since GREATER NOIDA is located in UTTAR PRADESH so one can APPLY for SCHOLARSHIP online and ELIGIBILITY for scholarship is having father income 200000 per year. I personally availed scholarship of 93,200 (tuition fee) + 6600. Loans are easily available if one have all the certificate.

Campus life was great for me, late college, bunk, movie, party in hostel etc. Gender ratio is quite good and population of very vast diversity, student from all over north INDIA are comes to college of different race and religion. Economically there are differences because many student depends on scholarship.

Actually I was not spend my days in hostel but lived in PG in ALPHA-1. ALPHA-1 is very close to GALGOTIAS and pari chowk the average rate of PG is in range of 6000-7500(AC) which provide nice mess, security, wifi and inverter i personally rate 8/10.

Alumni network is quite good and senior always helps their juniors in many aspects like placements, management, and studies. After college we are always connected to our senior and batch mates, we discuss our experiences it greatly affect our experience about companies and further studies.
