College experience.

Placements, infrastructure, faculty are all good, but the fee structure is a little high overall activities are also good and helpful.

GAT score 100 Good placements rank was about 3000 and ECE got filled by the time my turn came during the counselling session. Seniors had informed this was a good college, so considered this.

We had electives from electronics, mechanics and civil and it was very helpful in learning beyond our curriculum faculty from other branches also were very helpful and made things easy to understand with labs, field work etc involved, though not a part of the course so it was very helpful.

Stipend varies from company to company We have had people interning at local organizations like symbiosis and also at international ones like Qualcomm with a 5000+ stipend.

Placements were good 80%+ of the students for placed in multinational companies like Tcs, Accenture, wipro, Qualcomm, amazon, Microsoft etc package range dependent on the company : 3L - 16 Lpa.

Many fests each year then we had rotract club organizing fun fests aisec also had its events each year technical fests were held branchwise, but on 1 year we had a big fest jointly held by all the branches together there is a lot of learning experience involved besides the fun element.

Expensive fee structure 1.08 Lpa but owing to the infrastructure and facilities, this pricing seems ok though not completely justified but the reputation is such that we have had a mixed bag of students from all over India.

Student education loan from bank taken not aware of any scholarships before entranceBut after that each semester, the top 2 of each branch get a scholarship of 10000 rupees.

Gender ratio was decent enough with an equal number of both overall it was good inspite of there being caste based meets and parties earlier this has come down over the years.

Hostel fee about 50k paIncludes WiFi, food, lodging and other basic amenities mess food was decent though hostel food is always hostel did and never home food overall amenities and hygiene were always maintained.

Good very helpful owing to good placements, your alumni network can be very helpful the interaction with seniors at college is also healthy with issues like ragging being strictly prohibited, so things get simpler and easier for us as students.

2 mid terms and 1 sem end exam per semester chilled out not hectic and scoring pattern is also decent the mid exams give us a head start for sem end preparation and the schedule is not really that hectic.

Good there were PHD professors and other assistant professors, who helped us throughout the curriculum and in projects and internship suggestions, Gitam had its own standards and minimum qualification to take up professors we also had MS returns teaching at gitam.
