Great Time

They should try to provide more opportunity for the students to grow in practical knowledge rather than just theory, and they to improve the structure of labs, should inculcate good faculty in few branches.

UPTU, it was a newly opened college, and was looking promising in terms of various aspect. I was being relocated to greater noida along with my family, so my priority was to get college in same place.

Having 8 semesters, first two semester course was same for all the branches. Includes C, maths, physics, chemistry, engg, mech engg, elec engg, engg drawing in first two sems. Further it depends on branch.

I was one of the toppers in my class, due to which I got opportunity to go for summer training for 2 months in Nucleus Software(product based banking domain company), and learned quite a lot about software culture. No stipend was offered.

It does have quite good placement opportunities compared to other local colleges. TCS, Accenture do come over there for on-campus hiring. Apart from them, they also various other mid-level companies.

Fresher event during first year, and was quite good for the exposure to college, college fest which include various competitions like gaming challenges, sports competition. Various other events are also held all throughout year. Farewell for the last year students.

During my time, it was quite reasonable, as total charge of four years was 3.75 lakhs, which was very much less compared to other private engg colleges.

I don't have any idea about any such facility of loan of scholarship. They do provide reimbursement of tuition fees for backward students with less than 1 lakhs family income from university.

In sports, we were having various competition like basketball, cricket, volleyball. We also used to have drama, dance , singing competition. Also, college was having all kinds of labs, and student interested in any innovation were giving all support.

I hadn't been living in hostel, neither I tried much of mess food, but I can give little insight. Hostel was normal, was having big rooms for three persons, common bathrooms for all. Food in mess was also normal, not much expensive.

We do have an social media app for our alumni where we post the jobs, can recommend to our college, get to know the activities in college. Many senior students have got into product based and startups, defense forces, govt jobs.

Exam structure is already defined by UPTU. Sessional exams are held twice/ thrice per semester. At the end of sem, there is main UPTU examination along with practicals.

It was average. Few were quite good, and were having quite good knowledge of the subject. But, overall it was an average, and student themselves have to extra effort for everything.
