Remarks
Hi, I am Nitika Choudhary pursuing my B.E in IS&E department from SVIT. I have got this college based on my KCET exam rank and score, there are other modes through which you can take admission to this college such as COMEDK, MANAGEMENT etc. SVIT is affiliated to VTU, it is recognized by the government of Karnataka and approved by all India council of technical education, New Delhi, India.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is good, SVIT follows VTU syllabus which is quite good and helps students to make them ready for industry. All the faculty at SVIT are qualified, experienced and knowledgeable, they are very friendly and always ready to help. their students in every possible way, they encourage and motivates us. The way of teaching is good at SVIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure depends on the mode of admission as I got admission through KCET so my fees are around 80k to 90k. Placement at SVIT is average around 80% of students from ISE, CSE&ECE are placed but this is not same for other branches such as CIVIL, MECHANICAL, EEE etc Many companies visit our campus such as MINDTREE, NTTDATA, TCS, INFOSYS, EMPHASIS, WIPRO, HARMAN, ACCORD etc.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is quite good classes are spacious enough to accommodate 60 to 70 students per class, labs are designed well. We have a well maintained library which contains good quality and quantity of books. Canteen of svit is ok with limited space and food. SVIT provides hostel facility we have separate boys and girls hostel along with the mess. Every year there is lots and lots of activities conducted by svit such as cultural fest (sanchalan), technical fest (techvidya), workshops, seminars, sports activities etc.
