4 golden years of grooming

In my perspective, It was good and creating a gooday environment for the students to create a bright future.

CET. I got 11000+ rank and I chose global academy of technology to pursue my bachelor's degree in Electronics and communication engineering. This college was well known for the quality of lecturers and good campus placements.

I took up Electronics and communication engineering as I heard it's a challenging one and will have ano option either to go into the world of hardware firm or a software.

If I am not wrong, this will be applicable for master degree and not for bachelor's degree. So, we did not have any internship programs at our times and not sure if any such programs have started now.

Our college have a good relation with some IT giants and product based companies like Infosys, SAP Labs, HP, Cisco and others. They even try their best to place all their students by giving trainings and also help in attending placements being conducted at other colleges.

Cultural activities are part and parcel of most of the colleges in bangalore. Some of them are college annual day, freshers day, ethic day and college fest. This helped us to gel with people from other branches and help us to learn more.

As other colleger, our college had a share of seats being given to CET, COMEDK and management quota. The fee structure would go as per the norms of the entrance boards.

Not sure if our college had offered loans for the students. But they were in good terms with Andra bank and SBI where some of my friends had availed loans from.

It was fantastic and all were encouraged without any gender bias which helped us to groom ourselves to the outside world. A lot of workshops were being conducted when we were there and I hope they are now even better both qualitative and quantitatively.

I stayed in Rajarajeshwari nagar and with my family. So, did not get a chance to stay in hostel. My college had separate boys and girls hostel with good facilities.

We alumni's meet once in an year where we get a chance to meet our younger crowd and get tout know about them. We help them with our thoughts about the industry and guide them to a good carrier track by sharing our experiences.

Apart from the semester exams, we had three internals per semester for theory and one internals for the practicals. There will be 2 practical subjects per semester and we had lab session every week( 3 hrs per subject per week).

I was lucky enough to have a good crew of lecturers who were helping us to get ourselves comfortable in the subject. We had good combination of theory and practicala which helped us to have a better understanding of things.
