Course Curriculum Overview

In the law field, 5 years degree course helps in better understanding of the laws and and how laws evolved and recognized and applied by the state in administration of justice. Various types of laws like family, contacts etc are helps for your future and Every academic year we have 2 semesters and you have to pass atleast 5 in academic year.

Placement Experience

College give job opportunities and placements narrowly and provides placements in internship for the students with various Advocates and recommend the lawyers to the students and college doesn't give any internship and stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure has been within the orders from the government and to the students other than convenor quota has to pay little bit high amount comparing to the Convenor quota students, they do charge some extra fees and more.

Campus Life

College always encouraged the extra circular activities and they provide computer knowledge for the students and also extra circular activities like mooting. College encourages sports and our college won in the Inter law college cricket tournament last year. College encourages many other extra circular activities too.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumnies help very well in the College activities regarding to the Course and Senior students also helps more than faculty in facing the problems like backlogs and Mooting problems and Submission of records and give tips to be followed in the exams and as well as throughout our College days.

Admission

The college takes in students through their score in the CLAT main exam. The cutoff is declared after the results are out and those who clear the cutoff set by the college are called in for counseling and there the admission procedure is discussed.

Faculty

Well experienced and Highly qualified faculty, they help in various activities with helps in law field like moot and seminars, they always encouraging extra curricular activities and college has friendly,most experienced Principle and faculty Check the Students performance daily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ULC, GU being one of the premier law colleges in the North Ease of India, I chose this college because of the course structure which prepares students to make a law career for themselves along with the faculty from various esteemed colleges of India which includes the likes of University of Goa, Government Law College, Gauhati etc. The college helps students seek internships with various legal professsionals which prepares the students not only accademically but also the face the practical legal world after college. The courese need no specific improvement but the availibility of a placement cell would had been a great addition to thish college. The exams are conducted half yearly which rigorously tests the students legal knowledge in every aspect.

Admission:

Admissions to B.A. L.L.B. program is done on basis of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019 conducted by Dibrugarh University. Admission to the college is in online mode. Candidates can download/ acquire the admission form, fill-up and submit the same along with the requisite fees and required documents. I got qualified in the entrance exam and got an admission offer letter in my mail and went ahead for seeking admission into the college following the instructions.

Internship experience

I did not apply to any other colleges as my dream was to get into this college only. The college does not require a CLAT exam (but soon there will be). So, the forms of the admission are out in the college portal where the students have to fill out their form and after that there will be a date of the interview which is either written or oral taken by the faculty members of that college. Then after that interview the selected candidates are asked to go to the college for document verification (all these information are given through the notice in the college website) . Then after the verification, the students have to pay the required admission fees. The cut off of the exam is quite high and there are reservations for the SC, ST, OBC. The admission process is quite flexible as all the information is given through the notice clearly and that notice is also published in the official group of the students....Read More
