Pursuing PH.D from Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg

The course curriculum has been designed very aptly to meet a PH.D student’s need. It is a 3 year long course in which we have to take up our exams and write research papers. All of this is just a groundwork for honing our skills for completing our thesis. So, the final year basically involves focusing solely on our doctoral dissertation and once we are done with that we have successfully completed our PH.D

For internships, you have to apply at the specific companies and because of the reputation of the college, you are bound to get in. However, there is no specific internship or placement cell. But the companies that generally come to recruit students from our college are:- Genpact, Mphasis, Axis Bank, Infosys, etc.

The fee structure is suitable and inexpensive for almost all the students and even those who are trying the afford the education on their own. We are charged a total of Rs. 82,535 for a course duration of 3 years which is very cheap as compared to any other college offering the same opportunities.

The environment at this college is very friendly and helpful. All the students and the faculty are extremely nice. There are a lot of societies and extra-curricular activities you can take part in but as senior students you don’t get enough time to get involved in the festivities because of your hectic schedule. But the college has a lot more to offer than most students perceive.

I am currently pursuing my PH.D (in management) from Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg. I wanted to get into a university that had a good reputation but at the same time was affordable. It wasn’t my first choice but after completing my Master’s degree I wanted to pay on my own for my PH.D and after going through the college’s prospectus, I thought it would be just the right place for me. I applied in the university and was called for an interview. Thus, the admission process went quite smooth and I was very excited to pursue my PH.D from here.

The faculty at Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, Durg is amazing. The teachers and the staff are very helpful and they put in extra efforts to help a student prosper. They make the classes extra engaging by involving the students in discussions and teaching the practicality of the subject.
