B.A(Economics) from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University

The duration of the course is 3 years and it is further divided into 6 semesters with half yearly exams. The course curriculum for B.A(Economics) is very well defined and is UpToDate with all changes in the syllabus. We have the option to give our papers in either Hindi or English according to student’s convenience. Our college provides us with the original readings as well as the books to understand a topic very thoroughly.

Our college is average when it comes to placements and internships. There is no specific internship cell. But, some companies do come in and around each year for placements. Our college is trying to improve its recruitment rate. Otherwise, a student has to apply in a company in which he/she wants to work.

One of my main reasons for applying in this college was because of its sound fee structure. The college’s fee structure is very feasible as compared to any other college providing the same degree and it also has a great reputation in Rajasthan. Thus, making it a very lucrative option for the students here and all over India.

Our college conducts a lot of workshops and seminars on various topics for the students that will help us in building our career and making it easy for us to decide our future paths. We are also encouraged by the college to take part in various extra-curricular activities. We have a playground and sports is actively played in our college.

I got admission into Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University - [PDUSU] for B.A(Economics) after scoring decently in my class 12th exams. The admission process was trouble-free and I had applied in the university. Since, I live in Rajasthan I wanted to study here only and though this college was not my first preference after going through the brochure of this college I was convinced that this might be the right place for me because of the proximity of this college to my home and the reasonable fee structure.

Our professors are well read and have full knowledge about the subjects they are teaching. The classes are made interactive for the students by making us indulge in discussions about various economic policies implied all over the world in different situations and how effective they are for an economy. Thus, the faculty at our college is impeccable.
